  • Hey people!! I guess I should upload some pics soon!! I hate doing the whole photobucket thing. Drives me crazy.
  • New program...

    lifting 4x a week (30-45 minutes)
    hiit -- 3-4x a week (15-20 minutes)

    LISS--60 minutes 1 x a week

    10 mile run--1x a week

    Abs, 2x a week

    1 day off per week.

    Calorie target = 1600

    Weight is up 3.4 pounds from last week--no big deal. I am not concerned. I will keep you posted.

    Whats the lifting split look like? And what styles of HIIT are you doing?

    Re pics: unsure what phone you have but the way I do it is simple. I take pics with phone, upload straight to picasa using "picasa tool" app. Then I just go there on my puter and copy urls. Too easy :smile:
  • Split is just upper/lower and it's 2 of each per week. HIIT is treaddy running--sprints, walk. 1 min on/1 off. fun stuff, eh?

    I have an iphone. never used picasa though.

    if you have a gmail account, you have a picasa account. Otherwise, there must be an app for iphones to do the same thing I'd think.

  • Checking in to say all is well--weight is coming back down. Today is a day off of lifting so its SS cardio for me.

  • Thanks all. I was at 111.8 this morning. About 7 pounds till goal. YIPPEE!
  • Killed it today in my workout... here are the deets:


    HIIT for 20 minutes (1min/1min)

    Lifting (short rest period--high reps/low weight):

    1. squat: 45/45/45/45 (30 reps)
    2. alternating db lunges: 15/15/12.5/12.5 (15 each side)
    3. calf raises: 100/80/65/65 (30 reps)
    4. leg press: 100/120/105/100 (30 reps)
    5. abs: 50 reps of random stuff

    Walked a little bit afterward to cool down. Feel pretty good. Weight down another pound but still higher than my Valentine's day weigh in. C'est la vie.
  • Keeping my calories at a steady 2000 each day and going to monitor my march progress.
  • Past 2 days have been pure cardio days--nothing intense, just slow and steady. Weigh ins have been good both days BUT today marks the beginning of progesterone (the I want to eat the f#cking house hormone). UGH! Wish me luck!
  • Day 2 of progesterone--weight up ~2 pounds. Eats are good. Workouts are good.
  • Progesterone is done--weight is at 110.6 this morning. Just monitoring to try to figure out my TDEE...been eating somewhere around 2000-2200 every day with 1x a week at ~2500 or so. We shall see what happens. Still kicking *kitten* in the gym...but i do have a huge blister that royally screwed up my workout this morning. I'll live.

    How's everyone else?

  • Chris--yes, it's basically to look at my estrogen levels indirectly. I have hypothalamic amenorrhea--it's a mess. So, yeah it 's over now. YAY, I'm glad you're loving life.

  • Really far--we are on opposite coasts. 3 hours time difference. He's in CA and I'm on the East coast for school.
  • I got 75 x 18 on bench today. weight is up, I'm constipated. BOO! Going to eat high fat, low carb, low bulk, lots of water, and hope that things get moving!
  • would high fibre be better? lots of wholemeal? and a couple glasses of fibrogel or something?
  • if i am constipated i also sometime use glycerol suppositories... work brilliant in around 10 mins
  • I already eat a TON of fiber. It's not a lack of fiber that is causing this-it's due to my inability to run which always results in constipation. Really really sucks.
  • Also, I'll still get ~40g of fiber today because I generally eat foods that are high in fiber. I'll see if I can find some suppositories at the pharmacy near my house.
  • So, today is a high fat kind of a day. I finally used the restroom! YAY! Not great but progress and that's all I can ask for.

    I've had 9-10 cups of water today (didn't REALLY count)...I'll have 2-3 more before the day is done.

    My eats have included: eggs (4 jumbo omega 3 eggs), salmon (1.5 pounds), canned salmon, wild greens, kashi cereal, almonds, protein shake, and protein bar.

    Here is my average calorie intake for the past 5 full weeks.

    Feb 4-Feb 10th 2437
    Feb 11th- Feb 17th 1582
    Feb 18th-Feb 24th 2295
    Feb 25th – Mar 3rd 1909
    Mar 4th- Mar 10th 2145

    Average: ~2075 calories

    My weight hasn't been adversely impacted. That's awesome.
