Anyone else have trouble the days after a binge? It seems I am WAY more hungry than before and it is so hard to resist!!!!

Stayed up studying super late last night and was very stressed, but glad I'm not turning to food in this stress! Also, got a 92.7 on my exam! Now I just wish a nap or sleep were in the near future :noway:

Great job on your test and for resisting a binge! I'm a stress eater for sure.

Today's my birthday and I didn't overindulge. I stayed within my calorie limits and avoided binging. However, my real celebration will be this weekend.

Yes I think its why its so easy to end up having a string of binge days!!

Katemarcus - Thanks for your comment. Saw that you like me have succumbed to the monster. I hope you do ok when out with your friends.

I had a pretty bad one last night, still feel like crap and just want to sleep. it is completely down to PMS, why are the days just before so hard??!!! I woke up with that "I can't eb bothered with anything" feeling and all day long battled not to give in, and eventually didn't have the energy or even the desire to fight anymore. Lost my winning streak. Oh well.

Logging in for yesterday 20th March

Alright, preparing for vacation. Last year when we went to New Orleans & I had one major binge..I literally went for a walk out on my own so I could binge..eek. That cannot happen this year! I have the majority of my meals planned (packed and ready to go) and for some reason I'm really good at restaurants and always get protein + veggies..even if it is the south! I'm going to check in every day, still, no need to worry! Any suggestions for traveling would be great : ) I know most people say, oh it's vacation, enjoy yourself! I'm going to enjoy myself but without crazy food addictions, just with the scenery and all of that good stuff.

You are lucky. I have not had a vacation since I was 19. That is almost 19 years.
Needless to say, if I ever get to go on vacation again, I doubt I will be too worried about food, lol.

    Binge-free for: 4 days

So I struggled a bit with figuring if I should count yesterday as a binge. First, I did not exercise, because I was dead tired and running on 3 hours of sleep. So that made it hard to keep under my calorie goal. Secondly, cravings hit me hard, and it is my TOM. However, I tired to take control of my cravings. First when I wanted something, I ate something high in protein, to try to keep me satisfied. When I wanted something else later, I ate it slowly and tried to figure out when I was full. When that wasn't enough and I really really wanted to binge, I went to sleep. In the end, I ate about 600 over for the day, which isn't bad, and I made choices to stop my binging. In the end, I think I'll give this point to me. Sure I went over, but not by my usual 1000-2000.

Really hungry again today. Must be peri menopause? Maybe it's just because I am NOT stuffing myself with food right now. This is a minute by minute situation

Hope you are having a wonderful day all!!:flowerforyou:

Totally unrelated....... but had to share from another group.......

I think it is very interesting reason to keep drinking that water.

    "From a Cardiac Specialist -

Drinking water at a certain time maximizes its effectiveness on the body:

2 glasses of water after waking up - helps activate internal organs
1 glass of water 30 minutes before a meal - helps digestion
1 glass of water before taking a bath - helps lower blood pressure
1 glass of water before going to bed - avoids stroke or heart attack

Water at bed time will also help prevent night time leg cramps. Your leg muscles are seeking hydration when they cramp and wake you up with a Charlie Horse."

Hopefully, by the time this month ends, I will have less than 8 binge days... that will beat last month. I've never made it over a week without a binge though so it might be tough trying ... <3

I really didn't recover from the chaos of Spring break for days! I feel like I am in a boat called Healthy Eating moving along calmly and all is well unless the environment gets turbulent and then I fall out of the boat. It takes a while for me to swim back and get into the boat and then the boat has to stop rocking.... then, finally I am back to my calm, healthy eating again.
Maybe I need to drag this boat out of the water!!
