I was sick yesterday but didn't think it would cause me to lose a whole pound. So that was kind of odd. I'm still not logging, focusing on healthy choices seems to work better for me right now which is counter intuitive but whatever works.

Here's my 38 week check-in.. just two more to go hopefully! I'm 5'6" and started at 125lb. This is my fourth baby and I eat around 1700 cals a day plus exercise calories (this is my maintenance but I've been gaining well so far and the baby measures exactly average according to my ultrasound a couple weeks ago). The reason I didn't up my calories over that is because I had a very large baby and didn't want to go through that again, with the blessing of my midwife :) My goal was to gain 20 lb total but I guess I will be going over a little bit in the next couple of weeks. But I'm so close I am starting not to care as much lol! Hopefully the baby will be around 8lb at birth as according to ultrasound and that is more manageable I hope :)

Oh boy.. I am only at 12 weeks and haven't stepped on the scale yet, but all of my clothes still fit (Although I certainly need new bras- lol) I do feel more bloated than normal, but other than that I don't feel like I've gained much weight. I am excited to finally be out of my first trimester since I am getting a ton more energy and less morning sickness! woo hoo!!! What kind of work outs have y'all ladies done throughout your pregnancy? So far I've just been able to do some brisk walking and pool time. I live in TN, and it's been HOT to say the least.. I started my pregnancy at 175 and I'm really aiming for not hitting the 200 mark.. Hope everyone is having a great pregnancy so far!

I almost forgot to add my weigh in this week.. I had all these horrible contractions that led nowhere (but they were super painful and lasted 5 hours (at night of course) from 8mins apart to 3 mins apart and then they stopped.. then irregular contractions since). I think the baby is coming soon!

Anyways, I'm 5'6" and starting weight was 125lb. I eat around 1600+ cals a day + exercise (walking every day). I'm just about done finally! I wonder if there will be another weigh in :) The baby feels so huge in there, I can barely breathe ugh!!

I am following the GD diet, even though I don't have it they want me to follow the diet because I was slightly elevated on my 1 hour. As a result I truly can't consume enough calories to gain.... good thing I went into the pregnancy with 20 extra pounds. The good news is that little man is growing just fine and right on track.

I just had my baby boy yesterday!! :) I'm so happy! You can read the birth story in the july due date thread if you are interested :) As for the weight, I just weighed myself and it looks like I only gained 7lb overall although some of it may be water weight still, we will see. I'm going to chillax and enjoy the baby and breastfeeding now and worry about the weight once I'm fully healed. So happy he is here safe and sound! Also I gained 21lb overall, and the baby weighed 9.05lb, he was so big everyone is shocked. He was kind of hard to give birth to because he was in the wrong position and I had a ton of back labor. I'm so glad it's over!! :)
