Also, how is everyone doing with their weekly challenge? Mine was to eat more veg and it has got to be said, as soon as I did I felt a lot better, and I've lost weight :) Definitely going to keep it up.

How is everyone else doing on there's? Look out for the Week 2 challenge discussion post. I'll add it to the board!

Hi lizz2013, I don't do a lot of exercise at the moment. I know I should. I have a gammy back which pain radiates down my hip and into my thigh. My chiro has given me exercises to do which eases the pain and hope to be up and about in a few weeks. Walk small distances but not at a fast pace, pretty sedentary at the moment unfortunately :frown:

    Hi Lizz,

My challenge has gone really well...stopped coffee because I had to have real sugar and cream in it. Definitely feel better and think I am able to keep my appetite under control better because of it. I have also gone mostly vegetarian - except fish, eggs, and milk just for health reasons and feel better doing that.

Well, of course, it's not official nor strictly scientific/professional nor from the doctor's office percentage off...just from my body/water/fat home scale. It's been consistently 48% and today and last night it was 46%. I'm thrilled with that!

Little Gem you're pretty much the same as me :) We can do this!!! As long as I'm at 185 by the end of the year I'll be happy. Oh to be under 200!

Newlifestyle, I think if the scale repeatedly said you were 48% then I'd say you're fairly accurate :) Wish I had that type of scale

This is called a "Taylor" Body Fat Water Scale. It's relatively inexpensive (I think I spent something like $29.00-$39.00 dollars, BUT...I bought this scale about 10 years or so ago. There was a lifetime guarantee on it. I did something and it stopped working I remembered the "lifetime" guarantee and called them. The NICEST customer service people, explained to me that they no longer had the model I had and would send me the current one that most closely matched the one I had. WOW....I got a super nice one, and those darling people Federal Expressed it to me FOR FREE.

Just check "Taylor Brand" body fat scales...wonderful investment and great company! Not outrageously expensive AT all.

    YAY!!! :smooched:
