I may not post for the next few days as tomorrow will be a traveling day and this weekend I have my long awaited and long feared army physical fitness test Saturday. After two ACL reconstructions and a third corrective surgery to my left knee, it is now make or break time for me to prove I can still make army standards in the National Guard at age 41.
12/5 total miles stationary cycle and elliptical for 6.47 miles.

Okay... I am new to this group and to this thread, but here goes. I plan on getting in at least 50 miles for the month of December.
1 Dec- 0
2 Dec- 0.15
3 Dec- 5.89 (tuesday running night with my sister)
4 Dec- 0.5
5 Dec- 5.89 (thursday running night with my sister)
Grand total so far = 12.43 down and 37.57 to go.
Also, my sister and I are training, or at least attempting to train, for a 5K (The Hot Chocolate Run in Atlanta on 26 Jan 14). Would any of you have any suggestions as to how we might be able to step it up a notch for the next six weeks? Our current pace has us walking/running at an average of 4 mph, and that is the minimum required to be able to run this 5K.0 -

Missed out on most of last month, due to sickness and then injuring my knee after I was starting to feel better. Lowering my goal this month to 20 miles, but I hope to exceed it.
