Woot! Day 5. I've been walking for 2.2 miles with a friend in addition, but it got cold in Houston! Crazy! So I wimped out and burned more calories inside with Vinyasa Yoga. I really like this program.

Woo! Glad to see your scale is moving! Congrats on sticking with it!!!

Just finished day 9, one more day...... *squeal* I'm a little nervous for measurements. I had *big* expectations... (uhm, anyone else see all the AHMAZING success stories here????)

Anyway. 1 more day, then it's on to level 2. Who else is checking/posting their measurements?

I'm going to take new measurements tomorrow, I can definitely post them! Today was day 20. Yay.

I just posted mine from day 10. The only measurement to go down was my waist. Everything else went up! :( I took pictures though, and *I* can see some results. So that's good. Hoping the next 10 days brings BETTER results.

I'm sure you will! I actually gained a few pounds during the first two weeks or so. I chalked it up to water retention and not paying enough attention to what I was eating. Now that I'm counting calories more religiously, the scale is starting to drop, but barely. I can see a difference though and that's all that matters!

I know I tend to turn it to muscle instead of just losing the extra weight. It's just my build, though. Do you think you might doing that?

I may have been. I've never done any kind of strength training before, so all of this was new to my body and I'm kind of in the learning curve phase of how my body will react to different things, haha. But yeah, I think it was probably a combination of gaining muscle and water retention.

Hey all. Confession... I skipped today's workout. I had so much going on today. Had company for dinner. Finally got everything cleaned up and I'm tired! I spent about an hour and a half at walmart shopping. Ended up with 2 carts. So I counted an hour of slow paced walking. All in all it's been a very busy day! Who ever commented about muscle.. I sure hope that's me!!! I feel better. I think I look slightly less "flabby"... I'm going to spend the next 10 days working on getting extra water.

Glad to see ya'll commenting, and helping each other through. I know I really enjoy/use the encouragement!!

It's rough. I have NO upper body strength. You'd think after 4 kids I would.... Nope. None. LOL. So, it's those v-flys that hurt. Ok. pretty much all of the arm moves hurt... LOL.
As bad as it is... I'm SO glad to finally be out of level 1.

Wow. How the heck do you do 2 work outs a day? I can barely do 1. LOL. I had to skip yesterdays. I had a migraine, and there was no way I was doing that. ;( Oh well. I'll do it today, and get back to it.

Level 2 Day 2 done. This level is NO JOKE!! I'm sweating, I was out of breath the whole time. Sheesh. Level one, I only really got out of breath during cardio. This level is rough. I took yesterday off, probably a good thing.. LOL. My backside was still sore today.

    How's everyone else?

Day 23 done, level 3. I did the first level of Ripped in 30 afterwards.

I know, I've already said this a million times but I really hated level 2. Level 3 isn't necessarily easier, but I think it's more fun at least!

I work midnights so I do one in the morning when I get off work and one in the evening a few hours after I wake up, so it feels like I'm doing them two different days.

Day 7 Level 1 completed. I refuse to do one more jumping jack. They really hurt my knees and calves. I don't get it either. I can run, but can't do jumping jacks?

Hm... Maybe it's the way your are jumping? I tend to jump on the balls of my feet instead of flat footed. But, I know that when I first started, I had a hard time with the jump rope. Jacks were fine, but the jump rope hurt my shins. I just use some Bengay, Ibuprofen, and push through. LOL
ETA: Make sure you're drinking enough water though! That's probably the most important. (For me)

Well, that'd make sense. I have a hard time doing 1 though LOL. Trying to push through level 2... Today will be day 3.

Oh my goodness... Alright. Level 2, day 3 done! This level is no JOKE. I'll probably only do 9 days instead of 10. To keep on with my schedule.

    How's everyone else today?

Day 24 done! I still can't do a push up to save my life. I'm able to actually hold the planks for the full time now without dropping to me knees for a beat, though I'm still doing the modified mountain climbers.
