@Laura: My half last Sat... well, it wasn't my worst half, but it was far from my best. But, I knew going in that I would not be able to perform as well this time so soon after bronchitis and with how my calf has been behaving. I finished in 2:36:26.. my best time is 2:22:09 at this race last year. I have another chance to redeem myself next Saturday at the Frisco Railroad Run.. but, I'm not holding my breath for a PR. Calf/shin still achey.. so just gonna run to enjoy the experience. Have a fairly famous ultra runner coming in town and only signed up cuz he talked me into it. Thanks for asking!!0 -

Came down with a bout of bronchitis! This is so weird because I generally never get sick. This took a toll on me. Today is the first day outdoors! Walked a couple of miles. Will post these and other miles over the next weekend. Have a 10 k in 3 wks and not even know at this time if I can participate,
