Today was 10 k time 97 min. A little winded. I completed it! That was a great feeling! Weather in am low 80's. It got hotter as run progressed. I had someone spray me with water hose to cool off. That was a 1st highlite of the day, the next one members of running grp cheering me on to finish line, moments I cherish!

Great weather yesterday for the Brooklyn 1/2 marathon. Started in Grand Army Plaza, ran through Prospect Park, down Ocean Avenue and ended up at Coney Island!0 -

Sat I rode with a new group. Our ride was 17.5 mi. There was a few steep hills. I made all of them. Never had to get off bike and walk! That was a big relief. The downhills were fast and fun! I got my bike groove back. This was all street riding. Have to be on constant lookout for other cars.

Thanks Wiglet! I'm enjoying the peddle and paddle. I wish I could paddle more but I'm borrowing a kayak off a friend. How was the race? I've been curious about trail races; I love trail running.
