2.25 mile run and 0.2 mile walk (total 2.45) added today.
I had a mini-goal of running 10 miles this month (out of my 180 total miles). Today's run put me over that goal at 11.8 miles running this month! yay. I'm trying to decide how much to increase that for next month - trying to get stronger, slowly, to avoid re-injury. Anyone have any ideas/tips for what would be a good goal?

Now boarding the GOOOOOOAL train......PIGOTE, KAR328 and DCMAT!! :drinker::drinker::drinker:
TAXMOM9093 - Oh noooo!! Get well fast!
HKRISTINE - My suggestion for a running goal would not be a distance, rather to run easy 2-3 times per week. Don't push yourself to go further than your body finds comfortable. You know....I mean, push a *little*, but it shouldn't hurt. If you need to do run/walk intervals, fine, do it. Don't get too locked into covering a particular distance.
Have a great weekend!

3.4 mile walk. I originally went outside just in time for thunder and since it was a tornado watch all day, I went back inside. Tried again two hours later when it was sunny. Part way through the sky got darker and it lightly rained. Changed my route to closer to my house, got in my usual distance, then the even darker skies and lightning made me call it a day. Glad I got it in, the idea of not going out would have driven me nuts. I think I have a problem. :ohwell:

Hi - best put me down for 750 miles as currently off bike with pulled back muscle. This decorating lark can be quite dangerous!

It's funny how just a little time outside turns into cheap therapy. I took a little detour on my way into work yesterday afternoon and walked a couple of slow laps around the park. I'm still getting over this pesky cold, so I was bundled up in a raincoat against the misty drizzle and I wasn't breaking any speed records, but I enjoyed spending the time outside. And it did improve my mood some too.

Congratulations to jegallo on making goal!
Happy Saturday, MFPs. Here we are 87% of the way through the month. As a group we've moved 79% of the miles we pledged, which is well above our average of 65%. Experience shows that many people move and report their miles on the weekend so I should really report how close we are to the miles we've pledged on Monday, right?
As of this morning 20 of us have made goal and 19 more of us are on track. :drinker: In total we have 117 @ss movers. As usual, we're overwhelmingly female (108 of us). Each day we move 401.8 miles as a group. Each day we move 3.43 miles/person, which is way above our average of 2.36.
That's it for Statistics Saturday. The rain has cleared here and it's time for me to get out there and move my @ss.0 -

Yes, it's such wonderful cheap therapy. Listening to music and letting my mind wander works wonders.
3 miles run/walk. I ran my second mile under 12 minutes which I'm excited about. And it just feels "right" now. It's not a struggle like it was when I did a lot last year.
