I agree! Chris you have to have seen some measurement changes with the workouts you pushed through.... Anything you are happy with?

This was a rough week in terms of not eating as well as I should have. I really recommitted halfway through the week so I'm glad to see that I still was able to lose a pound. Still on track to meet my goal. Only about 4 lbs to go!

Adding this a few days late but weight recorded is from Saturday. A little bummed because I've fallen off the pace for 10 lbs. Really pushing myself this week, making sure I get in a few extra workouts and trying not to indulge so much. Hopefully I'll be able to close the month strong and lose those last 3 pounds!

    Weigh in Dates:
Start of the month (5/01 Thu): 189

Well I didn't quite make it but still lost 7 lbs so I can't really complain too much. Definitely think that I need to be more diligent about my eating habits. I may be under my calorie goal often but I'm still not eating the healthiest foods. My goal this next month is to eat less bread and pasta and more healthy veggies.

Excellent month for me, hoping I can have another 1lb off me by tomorrow on my official weigh-in day as that would give me 6 stone total lost, I couldn't honestly have foreseen this 5 months ago when I started this journey.

Well done everyone for your achievements and I hope you will join the next challenge to lose 10lbs in June. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/59148-10lbs-by-july-1

Oh yeah I'm seeing results, I have a long way to go I think though. My ultimate goal is visible abs. So I probably have another 15 or 20 pounds to lose.

I really enjoyed hanging out during the month long challenge with all of you.

In reaching out to some of you that were struggling, and just chatting with others that weren't, I made some great friends. That has been just as rewarding to me as the weight lose..

That is why you see me pushing in the new thread so much for everyone to make an effort to friend others and then to help each other. What I learned here (thanks to many of you) is that the 10lb challenge will pass you by IF you do nothing, and If you involve yourself... the rewards are equal to your efforts!

I feel I put it out there, and I got a lot in return...

Please help me push this point forward through the next month's challenge whenever possible.

  • Well, a mixed bag for me, I didn't beat my friend to our personal challenge in 5 weeks, but I did make the -10lbs part by June, and I sure did increase all strength markers, and even aerobic challenge that I didnt post here originally: 1.5mi trail with elevation gain of 2,042ft in 46mins, down from above 50mins! :)

Right on. That's awesome. Did you join the new group? Or are you done cutting?
  • Ah tks. Whats the new group again? Not really done cutting, but I probably need to go a bit slower, more like 5lbs in a month now, since job focus and strength are more important at the moment. :)
