    I'm honoured that you have pencilled me in my usual place but to be honest i don't think i can commit? there's still lots of stuff for me to organise to get my life back to some form of normality. I hope that my house purchase comes through in the next few weeks so i will hopefully be busy getting that in order, then there's the days where i have the kids so won't be able to get out on the bike at all. I will have to give this one a miss i'm afraid :(

    Speaking of someone who's gone through something similar I've found the challenges to be a healthy distraction but understand totally where your coming from, you will be missed in this one for sure so I'd hope you might reconsider just so we can duke it out on the climbing stats :).

    No worries mate - It just seemed only fair to at least give you the option, seeing as you've pretty much been a fixture on the first team through all the challenges I've run - Hope everything works out for you mate, and maybe we'll see you in a future one.
    Seconded; sorry you can't 'commit' to this, but I fully understand - Good luck with the house move & everything

    Thanks for the support guys, i'm sure i'll be riding at some point but just not with any consistency or guarantee, it's not fair on my fellow team mates to take a place which someone else more willing could take, but if you are stuck then i will happily fill a void if need be although i doubt that will be an issue.

    Yeah - July... sorry, I've a bit of a twisted sense of humour at times...

    Actually, if you look at the first post in the thread, there's an image with all the dates, the distances for the day, and (perhaps most importantly) both the rest days marked...

    I would love to participate as this sounds like as much fun as the Giro. However my road miles will be somewhat limited by time on the boards. I'm sure you will fill all 4 teams.

    I asked to join on the prior thread, but it looks as though I may have missed the cut.
    The Giro was fun and if there is room I'd like to do it again. Sorry if I didn't request properly first time around.
    I think I was 339 Giro....but I'm not hung up on retaining the same #. Whatever is easiest.

    TBY - More simple explanation than that - I just missed your post. I'll drop you in on #321

    If no bugger else will do it, I suppose on the Giro Distances Showing I Aught to swap to "Team Leader" (301) from "road captain" (309)

    (though I'm less "Kilburn" and more "Kilburn and the High Roads" when it comes to wearing the captains number)

    Happy to be riding on a team in July. I will need some kind of incentive like this to keep me riding in the heat.

    TBY - Glad to have you onboard again Tom - wouldn't be the same without you... Just don't overdo it in those temperatures mate :smile:

    I think these will be filed later today, Coltsman4ever is now in, henryda04 who's been on the monthly challenge and adding himself on Strava has asked me to add his name in, I've directed him to this thread, gave Riot a nudge too being a big hitter on the Giro and might not have twigged this yet. Quick quick grab a place!!!

    Okay - quick additons / alterations then

    Team #1 - I'm going to swap Harksy from #304 to team captain on #301

    #304 can go to Coltsman4ever

    and our final slot of #332 goes to henryda04

    so - hopefully that's it for the signup process...

    If however, anyone either comes down with a mystery virus or real life intrudes in some way as to make riding impossible, PLEASE let me know before the Rollout in Leeds on the 5th July, as no substitutions will be made after this point.

    And, if anyone wishes to register interest in being a sub, again, feel free to let me know via PM and i'll add you to a section in the initial post. No promises of a ride sadly, this whole signup thing has been on the go since the end of the Giro in early June, but if you DO end up filling a gap in a team, I'm sure your distances will be deeply appreciated.
