I did lost 8 lbs during the month of march 2012 when i did the 20 days runs that month. I cant wait to see how much i will be able to lose this july.

Sounds like a really good idea. I've been trying to get into a regular jogging routine but went jogging twice in a week about a month ago and then never again. Maybe this group will help.0

Yeah this group is created to encourage us to run more. The 20 days does not need to be in a row. You can spread it thru-out the whole month:happy:0 -
Thank you for starting this challenge, just what I need! I just got back from vacation last week! I was doing awesome before. NOW I'm having trouble getting up in the mornings to run! I live in Las Vegas so it's starting to get way to hot to run! Mornings are a must! I'm looking forward to this!

I just started jogging recently and I notice my calves get really sore while I'm jogging. I only jog a mile right now. Does that eventually go away or can it be my shoes? Any advice would be great! Thank you! :-)0

Well it was not much of a run but I did walk jog for 40 minutes. It is a start, way out of shape and overweight.

It will go away because i experienced that before when i was over doing it. Maybe start slowly with walk-jog?0 -

Ran 1.0 miles without stopping However, my pace was 17:55 ( I am going to be honest about my sloth pace so other people won't feel that they aren't fast enough.. nobody is slower than I am LOL)
Plus walked 3.5 miles just to get in the burn.0 -

July 1 Jogged 1.25 miles, then walked 2 (errands, so I couldn't jog back with my bags).
