Prepregnancy: ~110
Fertility treatments and the like...no scale, but a significant gain between September and December when my doctor first weighed me.
Current at 34 weeks: 137
Hoping to keep my weight at/under 145 to bring me to 35 pounds to lose to be back to my prepregnancy weight. That will also be 20 pounds up from my 10 week appt which is perfectly healthy.0 -

I've been eating horribly this last couple days, so I'm surprised that I lost a teeny bit. Like yesterday, I wanted nothing but sweets and junk! Normally, I'll eat one sweet or something here and there, but it was like I couldn't stop myself! I guess I need to stock up on more fruit to kick those cravings!0 -
Week 17- up to 130.2 lbs which is an increase of 10lbs since I knew I was pregnant. Will weigh again on Sunday which is my 18 week point - wouldn't be surprised if I've dropped a little as my backache at the start of the week completely wrecked my appetite. but that's fine - if I increase by 1lb every week from here then that is a further 23lbs which I can probably deal with although I'd like to keep it a little less.
I hear you Kalyrra - I had a horrible food week last week and am really trying to make up for it with healthy eating this week. We'll see how that goes! I am getting through an awful lot of fruit at the moment0 -
Hi ladies. I am a newer member to this group. I am pregnant with baby #3 and want to try to stick to a healthier weight this time.
5' 3" starting weight 149.6 (overweight)
I am just over 11 weeks and have gained 1.5 lbs total.
In response to some ladies who are concerned about gains even though they are watching calories I wanted to share this. Try to remember weight gain doesn't always mean fat gain. Here's an average for pregnancy weight gain.
7 - 9 pounds of baby
2 pounds of placenta
2 pounds of amniotic fluid
4 - 5 pounds of increased blood volume
2 pounds uterine enlargement
3 - 4 pounds of fluid in maternal tissue
1 pound of breast enlargement to prepare for breastfeeding
Any remaining pounds are a general deposit of fat required by the body for breastfeeding and energy stores0 -

ugh I was hoping some of that extra 5lbs that accumulated would elevate a little, but looks like it stuck around. I'm hoping for a better week this week. Things should finally calm down. We had so many events last 2 weeks that aided in the sudden weight gain. I don't have any events this week until Saturday,(bridal shower, eek) I will be good )

I honestly thought my weight gain would have been crazy after that vacation so thank goodness I did a lot of walking and working out Molding is getting up in the nursery still but the room will not be finished for the baby shower Saturday. We have to focus now on the room next to it since the cat has been peeing on the carpet. Time to rip that whole floor up and replace it before baby makes its appearance. Hey everyone, I'm new to this group but not to mfp. I'm 19 weeks with my third child and due Dec 1. I started at 121.8 and am 128.6 now. I'm 5'4'' I gained 34 and 38 lbs with my first two and they were 9 lb 11oz and 9 lb 0oz. I'm really hoping to keep this pregnancy at 25-30lbs.0

I'm very worried... I think I'm eating too much!

I'm not eating sugar and try to keep any sweets to berries, one banana or apple... Gluten free.
Perhaps too much fats, even the good kinds? I'm under 2000 calories a day, but it haven't restricted myself. I'm so bloated/uncomfortable that something needs to happen!

I was really bloated during my first trimester. Also remember your body doesn't need any extra calories during the first trimester. After that the most they suggest you need is an extra 300 per day. I went from 1200 before I knew I was pregnant to 1500 when I found out because I wanted to keep a safe number. After my first trimester was over at 14 weeks I went to 1700. I'll stay at 1700 until I start breast feeding and then I might up it to 1800. My body gets pudgy quick on 2000 lol. Always listen to your body and talk to your doctor too about what they reccomend. I'm at 22 weeks and up 8lbs from my 150 start and I'm 5'6.

When I got pregnant I lost 13 lbs from being sick and now at 32 weeks I have a gain of 3 lbs. I've seemed to plateau, baby is growing perfect I'm just not gaining.0

I was a little concerned about my progress, or lack of, but at my last appointment the baby was growing just fine and the OB said I'm doing good. I'm working out less (but still a few times a week) and eating more so idk! I still could stand to eat more calories but I get so full I don't see how I could possibly eat and drink more. When does the major appetite kick in?!0
