Congratulations going out to Clepant for making goal!! (*)
Dave, I was pretty surprised there was something for me to do this morning and wondered what happened. But more importantly how could you live this long without seeing it's a Wonderful Life? Remember, Dave, no man is a failure who has friends.
I had a nice run today with my dog, putting me at 81/100.0

I've honestly tried watching it about 5 times before, but it was always late when I started or it was after a completely exhausting day and I never made it more than about 5 minutes in before falling asleep. lol But last night, we sat down with dinner at about 8pm and I made him watch it with me. He admitted afterward that he thought "it was actually pretty good." High praise from a teenage boy!Dave, I was pretty surprised there was something for me to do this morning and wondered what happened. But more importantly how could you live this long without seeing it's a Wonderful Life? Remember, Dave, no man is a failure who has friends But we had a good bonding time watching it and fully understand all* of the references to it now. But we had a good bonding time watching it and fully understand all* of the references to it now.
And yes, I did really like that quote about friends too.

We got 4 inches of rain today with more on the way. So not getting much done in the miles department. Went to the coast today and walked the beach in 70 knot gusts and the breakers were 20 footers. Lovely weather.

Close call today, powering up hill around 25mph and chain snapped. Still not too sure how I didn't come off. A quick fix with a emergency link and on the go again. Even managed to get to the bike shop for a new chain and rear cassette. Back on track for now0

The list of things I want to get done today is long. The list of things I am grateful for is longer. Feeling the blessings of the season.
Vhuber, glad you get to spend time with your grandbabies.
Dcmat, glad you were not hurt and the bike is back in action.
 Happy Sunday to all.0

DCMAT - 30,000 miles is INCREDIBLE! You are truly amazing.
CPANUS - That's wonderful the wedding went so well and my congratulations to you and your daughter and new son-in-law! :flowerforyou:
As for me, my recovery is taking far longer than I expected it would. And I'm still not sure when I'm going to be able to get back at it. I might* be able to ride my stationary bike tomorrow....I don't know, we'll see how I feel then.

I'm still moving but I need to get out more. There is sunshine outside right now, so I'm thinking of pulling the shoes on now and braving the 23F temperatures.
