As for me, I've done two more 9 mile runs this week. That's it for February. Two rest days and then I have a half marathon on Sunday to see how the training plan is working. This is far and away the most miles I have ever run in a month.

I am with you there. Our roads have been so bad for riding and running the past few weeks and the drivers are just too crazy. I have been alternating on bike and treadmill at the gym. Have a couple sprint triathlons coming up in the warm weather so I got to keep working all areas. But the elliptical is a bear on my feet because they go numb and the treadmills are too high for this short frame and I am always smacking my hands into the grip bar in the front.

Feb. 27: Ran 5 with my students today. They hated it but I got some miles in during each class. Walked 5.5 miles with work friends after school in the cold....The cold never bothered me anyway.

Changed my profile picture to a view from my walk this morning. I can manage the snow on the paths at the park, but the sidewalks in my neighborhood are still pretty scary.
Added 5 miles today. February total 71 miles. That should be enough for Green. Next step goal.

18.75 miles added tonight. I don't think I'm going to get any more mileage for the month, ending my streak right here... but oh well. I'm going to keep moving even though I'm not going to have a good streak going.
Maybe I'll be able to make it to a spin class on Saturday morning and get in those last 15.15 miles, but I'm not optimistic.
