Thank you for your concern. Good news, I am doing great. I think it was a mild twist/sprain and now it doesn't hurt at all. I put my good luck down to walking/jogging with Leslie. It must have built up my bone strength. I'm blessed that it wasn't as severe as I was afraid it would be.

Thank you bgoddess, but I have slowed way down on my non-teaching days as it is midterm and I am grading grading grading-which mean no time for walking. I am trying to make up for it by walking a lot more while I teach! The students are getting a kick out of it! :laugh:0 -

LOL, I knew about it because I fell on our bedroom floor after slipping on a spot that had been Pledged by accident and the next day, it was my knee and elbow that hurt, not the hip I actually landed on!!! Moral of the story-we have to stay on our feet Ann!

This week I've done 2 of the Walk it Off in 30 Days Burn 30 walks and 2 miles with the good old Walk Away the Pounds. I'm at 37/40. I am excited about making my goal. One 3 mile walk and I'm there.0

I know you are loving your need dvds. Diversity is a good thing, especially in workouts. Keep walking!

Hi all, this week sure went by quickly.I basically ended up taking a week off from exercise. I've been busy taking care of some additional things for my brother while he is still in rehab, including his apartment and of course the endless paperwork. Also finally pretty much done with the bronchitis and the endless coughing and exhaustion. Now it is just the annoying random coughing. I'm almost good to go .
Ann, glad that your ankle is better now! That's good that you heard from Alex! We miss his book excerpts and tidbits he so readily shares with us. As well as his sense of humor and adventure. bgoddess, yay for you getting some new DVDs. Which ones did you get? zichzb, you busted through 100 miles!! The weight will soon start to leave as you are surely being active and exercising! Yay for you going to see your granddaughter again! has it really been almost a year already :noway: . She may not be fast enough to chase around yet, but you can always get some strength moves in while picking her up and playing together. Pinkypan, you are walking some awesome mileage while exceeding your goal!! Ireutner, you are so near goal on your last post. You go girl!! Kab789, I like the walk & jog video. I really do like the older DVDs also, but do also favor some of the newer ones too. Variety helps me match the workout to the mood I am in. Which helps on those slower days.

97.5/85 I started this morning thinking I would do 1 mile. I was not feeling well. I began with Walk Away The Pounds 1 Mile Let's Get Started. Then I did the 2 miles Fitness Walk and then moved onto 2 Mile Heart Healthy. Wow I feel so much better.0 -
