    Texasgardnr and zichab, February is short but certainly not sweet this year! :'( they don't have an "I'm freezing" smiley. And we're still waiting for the "walking" smiley they promised us from last year! Come on MFP-show us what you got. We know you can make more smileys!

    I was looking around on the net to see what is going on on the Appalachian Trail close by where we last heard from Alex. There are winter weather advisories and road closures b/c of downed trees and power lines from ice storm(s), and I even found one advisory discouraging hiking parts of the trail right now. I'm not sure how much these advisories affected where Alex is on the "virtual" Appalachian Trail. So I'm hoping that Alex found "shelter" and is staying warm and dry while he plots his next part of the hike. Or that he had already moved on ahead of the storms.

    Maybe there is no Wifi available for him to check in lately :(

    I have been doing the Walk/Jog video everyday. The last couple of days have been tough because I am coming down with what everyone else in the house has. I refuse to go down without a fight, I figure if I keep walking the germs have to move faster to keep up with me :wink:

    took a break on Sat I was just a couch potato, but Sun 2/22 I did my 3 mile dance/walk so I have completed 24 miles. yay for me. I am just waiting for my new DVD's to come in then I can try something different.

    Thanks Ann! Heading for Netherlands again in 10 days so I have to make goal before I go as next month will not be good. My granddaughter is only 11 months old and although she is a mover and a shaker :laugh: she cannot move fast enough to get pounds off grandma! LOL

    84.5/85 I completed 2 Miles Walk This Way and 2 Miles Silver Walk this morning. I am a 1/2 mile short of my goal.

    I fell yesterday while putting out some wild bird seed. Ankle seems ok though and I did some of Leslie's low key miles. I think it will be fine and I will meet my goal. Going to try anyway.
