how much weight have you gained

I'm up 19 lbs at 31 weeks. My starting BMI was bang on 25 which puts me right on the borderline between healthy and overweight so most websites can't agree on whether I fall into the 15-25lbs ideal gain (overweight) or the 25-35lbs ideal gain (healthy BMI). I seem to be more or less on track for around 25 lbs though which I guess is about right either way!0

Started previous pregnancy around 160 and ended up over 200 (40+ lb gain )
I generally only weigh on days I have an appt so I can compare what my home scale says to the scale in the doctor's office (they subtract lbs to account for clothes). But the after week 33, I've started weighing on days when I'm not retaining water to keep a better gauge on what I really weigh so I'm aware of how skewed my weight could be on dr appt days in the event I'm retaining water.
Starting weight: 174
Week 11 (8/22): 173.2
Week 16 (9/23): 176
Week 17 (10/1): 176.4
Week 19 (10/14): 180
Week 21 (10/31): 183.4
Week 22 (11/05): 184.4
Week 24 (11/16): 185.4
Week 25 (11/26): 186.2
Week 26 (12/3): 188.8
Week 28 (12/22): 191.4
Week 33 (1/23): 199.2 (massive water retention going on - stupid cankles)
Week 35 (2/5): 199 (more realistic, but also got sick so didn't gain much more)
Week 36 (2/16): 201
Week 37 (2/23): 206 (massive water retention again)
Week 37 (2/26): 204 (still retaining, but going back down)
Week 38 (3/2): 206.8 (I think my body has become more sensitive to sodium - cankles are back)
Week 39 (3/11): 205.6 (never ending water retention)
Week 40 (3/17): 204.6 (feet are starting to look normal again - yay!
Total gain to date: 30.6 lbs

Second baby With my first I started at 138 and stopped weighing myself at 180... I gained way too much. I'm 5 feet nothing on a good day. My pre-pregnancy weight this time was 155.6 after the holidays so I started walking and c25k on the treadmill and had lost about six pounds before I found out we were pregnant; then the nausea took over and I have pretty much stopped exercising for now. I eat between 1700-2000 calories per day. Looking forward to feeling better and LESS SNOW so I can get outside again. My goal is to gain 25lbs max.

So I am almost 23 weeks and this morning I weighed 159lbs.......when I got pregnant I was about 145lbs so I tell people about 14lbs weight gain....but here is my denial part last year I was about 130lbs around this time a normal weight for me should be about 120lbs.....so even though I look ok I feel soooo FAT!! I am pretty active most days but have no time for an actual exercise routine and I eat totally unhealthy I just don't over eat because it doesn't take much food for me to feel way too full!! Any suggestions to getting back on track and healthy??0

Hi ladies! I'd like to join you guys in staying accountable! I've gained more quickly then I would like to so far and I'm hoping to slow down a bit and stay in the healthy range.

I was really sick my 1st tri and the only thing that made me feel better was eating plain carbs, hence the rapid weight gain. I'm feeling better now and most of my food aversions are gone.
I'm also trying to workout or walk everyday to help burn some extra calories.

Don't worry... I also relied on carbs in my first trimester and never exercised... Eventually the weight gain slowed (a lot) once I got back to my 'normal' routine (eating & exercise).
