I want to join you ladies too. What a journey we are on. I am only like 3 weeks pregnant. I am 5'6", starting weight was 166 lbs. When I got my positive test. I just lost 9 lbs. in the last 2 weeks. I do tend to drop a little weight right when I first get pregnant, then start packing it on at an alarming rate. I am trying to make a positive change this time. I have been doing 30 min. of exercise every morning, 6 days a week. and logging my food, I want to power through the sickness & avoid giving in to the carb cravings. I have done this the unhealthy way a few times, and I am so ready to make a change.
I will weigh myself every Thursday, and check in here.

I am posting here and also on my August mommas thread. I gained a lot in March and have cut down on my carbs per my doctor to try to avoid gestational diabetes. This is my first pregnancy. I feel much better and for the most part, my sugar and junk cravings have died down. This week I lost almost 2 pounds! (Don't worry, this is ok with my doctor). It helps to weigh in weekly, which I was slacking on a little bit.

18 weeks- 151.6 need to slow down! I think some of this is fluid?! I've got a nasty rash and my skin is itchy and red over 80% of my body. I'm betting some is swelling as I feel puffy from all the irritation. Or I could just be rationalizing and I'm eating way too much! Which is also a distinct possibility... I've been snacking a lot i know! Either way, up 13 lbs is not where I wanted to be! Know I should log for a week or so and monitor, just not feeling too motivated to do it.

@poke987 I would almost guarantee some is fluid!!! I'm one week behind you and I am finding my body hangs on to fluid right now like CRAZY especially if I have the least bit of sodium... I weighed myself yesterday after some days of high salt foods, posted here, drank lots of liquids yesterday and ate water filled fruits and veggies and had my mom's homemade soup at one point (among other things) and the upped water content and less sodium in one day put me down 2 lbs this morning! So crazy. Add to that your body is probably in an inflammatory state if you're rashy and itchy.... Yeah. I'm gonna side with you and say fluid for sure. Don't stress girl!0

I wanna start keeping track of my weight, and I keep forgetting! So I'll just start with the data I do have and try to be more active about it. This will be based off my own home scale for the time being unless the doctor tells me it's super different. I really need to start exercising again, though. I've been overeating.

I'm only 11 weeks+3 days, and I know I'm heavier than 208.2 - my weight has been fluctuating like crazy, and I'm pretty sure it's due to me having bloating+unpleasant bathroom problems. Seems like I'm constipated for many days, and then get sick and repeat the whole process over again. I certainly feel heavier than when I started, even if the scale says that's not true on that current day.

Thought I'd join you ladies and use this as a place for accountability and to keep track of weight gain. I guess technically I haven't gained anything, but if I don't count week 1 then I've gained .4 lbs. Not too shabby since I don't really exercise, but I do try to watch the calorie intake. This time with the first kid I'm sure I was already up 10 lbs. although I didn't track then). Determined NOT to gain 65 lbs again. Getting too old to be gaining that much.

Every time I have a cheat day I gain like 4 lbs., & spend the rest of the week trying to fight it back off. I need a new strategy. I do not want to gain in the first trimester.0 -

I've noticed this too. While losing before pregnant, I had a cheat day that I worked into my calories for the week. Now if I do the same thing, my weight shoots up 2-4 pounds the next day and never goes back down

@JustAnotherGirlSuzanne after going over 200# with both of my boys, and then a pretty significant loss, that 200 number is so scary for me now! I really don't think I'd end up there again... but gah. It's a great goal!
@katiebrew I'm in the same boat. Can honestly say I've thrown all my weight loss and maintenance knowledge out the window! That's what's frustrating for me... i know I know better... and yet I keep snacking. Can't pass up the goodies...

So at home the day I got my BFP I weighed 147. This is right after 7lbs of holiday fatty fatness and an additional 10lbs from my previous pregnancy that never came off. I'm 5'3". Honestly weeks 10-17 are rough estimates but anything beyond that I'm tracking carefully and watching what I eat now because I finally feel well enough to do so!
