    I've been back on the injured list and nothing as awesome as those stitches Wiglet has. I was running on a new trail and caught my foot between two sapling stumps that were trimmed a few inches about the ground; my hip made a popping noise and it took me 15 minutes to shuffle a quarter mile to the road so my husband could pick me up. I don't know what I did to my halibut I pulled my groin muscle too so I've been wasting all this beautiful funny weather we've been having here.
    I bet it felt great to be on the bike again even with the heat.

    So I got a couple good runs in last week after waiting a couple days post stitches removal (wound was open & weeping, so I thought it best to rest it a bit)... then, Sunday got to take the bike out a couple times too.. last week of Aug was my best of the month! However, I am in need of body armour apparently... had an epic crash and slid horizontally across the patch a few feet during yesterday's 26mi ride... at least I didn't reopen the ankle wound, tho!

    I'm back again. I'm going very easy, short walks and runs. So far my hips and groin muscle are holding up so I'm planning to work my way back up very slowly.

    You ran over a squirrel?! How was your half?

    I had a stomach bug last weekend and a migraine during the week so I've only been out three times the last week and a half. I had a really fun trail run at a new to me nature preserve, 2.23 miles of mostly trail free wooded frolic B)
    3.23 miles Friday + 1 mile walk and 3.5 mile run+ 1 mile walk this evening. This cool weather has been great for running.

    So if we switch back to weekly or monthly, how do we pull in some new people?
