    9 miles on Thursday and 83 miles yesterday. Adding 92 miles for 129 out of 350. I've ridden further before but with almost 5000 feet of elevation gain, it was the toughest ride I've done. Time to start thinking about training so I can do it again quicker next year. :smile:

    As for me, I had a 5k this morning. Not my best time, but pretty good considering I ran 18 miles yesterday. Hope you are all having a great weekend and keep moving!

    @Dean: Awesome ride....very impressive. Congrats!
    @jth1706: you go girl...props to you for running 18 and a 5k the next day. I think you skipped your rest day. My legs would feel very heavy.
    Adding 16 miles today for cycling 10 miles, water walking 2.5 miles, kayaking 2.5 miles and walking 1 mile plus I did some swimming not sure how much.

    Ran a 5k yesterday morning (PR 29:13.5- 1st in my age group), then went for a ride with my girls group. We managed 26.5 miles despite the heat!

    And we have our first participant crossing the finish line! Congrats to tahm42 on making goal. (Maybe someone needs to raise her goal, young lady! Or you can just sit back and rake in the bonus miles.)

    @Just_Ceci - congrats on the PR. Great time! (But you knew that since you came in first in your division.)

    @clepant - the problem was I took my rest day on Friday, and Thursday, because I was so busy. I knew it wasn't ideal doing the long run on Saturday but I had to squeeze it in. We do what we can, right?

    Just enough time for a quick post. Finally got that blankity blank headache to completely let go yesterday. Which was good since we needed to go help the college kid get the last few things straightened out for her apartment. Walked 5.5 miles and lots of stairs since she is on the 3rd floor.

    Gotta run. Mom is having her fence replaced and I get to help wrangle the 8 dachshunds. What fun. :smiley:
