    Sorry to say NO miles today. I think I better give my body a rest. I've been in my pj's all day except for when I "thought" I'd get on the bike !

    Walked w/DH this morning then got on the bike for an episode of Castle then helped DH put a new mailbox out at the curb. That was so much fun!! :s

    Only added 1..5 miles yesterday. I have the time to add more today, but I need to convince myself that the below 0 windchill will not kill me. (I'm pretty sure it won't if I wear enough clothes, gloves, hats etc) Or there's always the treadmill if I can find something to watch or listen to so I don't get stir crazy.

    January total 50 miles.

    With a windchill of -15F (-26C) I don't think I'm getting outside for a walk today so it'll be either the bike at home tonight or the dreadmill at the gym! :cold_sweat:

    Took my germ infested lungs to the treadmill and survived 2 miles, one running, one walking. I didn't think it was quite time to try running outside since it's in the 20s.

    We got snow overnight, just enough to make the trails treacherous, so I ran 5 miles in the gym at lunch.

    JTH1706... the green is coming back little by little. The lawns aren't as lush. We had our front lawn removed and went 'desert-pretty' last year. Works for us. A lot of folks did that or went to rock. I can't imagine living where tornadoes come to visit unexpectedly...although we do have earthquakes that strike whenever they please.

    Chris, we did the same with river-rock and bark just this last summer. Planning to add drought resistant California native plants as well this spring if we can make that work.
