Had an idea this morning, what if us LCHF keto gurus could not only support each other here on MFP, but also in person. Cyber hugs and words of encouragement are awesome, but what if we could have those same hugs and words of encouragement face to face? How great would that be! So I will start the ball rolling.
I live in Northwest Arkansas, Rogers/Bentonville/Pea Ridge area.

When I have a chance, I travel around the country and hike in various places. I've visited 48 states (yes, the states I could drive to without going through Canada). So if you are into hiking and would be interested in joining up with me sometime when I'm in your area, PM me.2 -

I used to meet up once a year with a group of On-Line-Friends who have Spasmodic Torticollis/Cervical Dystonia. Everyone was just as they seemed on line. I have no horror stories.
We met for 6 years- New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Toronto Canada, Alabama, Wisconsin. The 7th year was planned for Rhode Island but gas prices skyrocketed and the get together was canceled. We've not gotten together since 2007.1 -

@midwesterner85. I would love too! Have never been hiking before, but I really want to. Devil's Den State Park is not very far from me. Awesome trails. There is even an over night trail.0

Absolutely. I think the only area I've hiked in NW Arkansas area is around Hot Springs National Park. There is a trail that starts in town and goes all around before coming back into town. I came back on the east side behind the bath houses and just had a short walk through town. It was around 16 miles total if I remember correctly.
There are some other spots there and in Oklahoma (Ouchita mountains) that I would enjoy... will try to remember to let you know next time I'm in that area.1 -
