For those following this thread: @bametels and I met this AM for coffee. Neither of us has any horror stories about the other and we're both alive to talk about it. It was fun chatting with someone in real life who doesn't get all bent out of shape about eating coconut oil and intentionally adding fat and sodium! 9

For those following this thread: @bametels and I met this AM for coffee. Neither of us has any horror stories about the other and we're both alive to talk about it. It was fun chatting with someone in real life who doesn't get all bent out of shape about eating coconut oil and intentionally adding fat and sodium!
We had a lovely chat, and I enjoyed sipping iced coffee with lots of cream! (I would have used skim milk a few months ago.) Because I don't talk to others about my new WOE to avoid lectures, it was nice to speak to an LCD Group member in person. Hearing about her experience and the wonderful health benefits that have come from eating KETO was inspirational! We plan to meet again.5 -

There's another meeting in the works within this thread! @Time2LoseWeightNOW and I are a couple of hours apart and are in the beginning stages of planning a meeting! Working around my inability to drive post op. I'm so excited!! Thank you OP for this thread! I've wanted face to face time with pals here for a long time, but an opportunity hasn't presented itself. Can't wait for this one to come together!6

I used to meet up once a year with a group of On-Line-Friends who have Spasmodic Torticollis/Cervical Dystonia. Everyone was just as they seemed on line. I have no horror stories.
We met for 6 years- New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Toronto Canada, Alabama, Wisconsin. The 7th year was planned for Rhode Island but gas prices skyrocketed and the get together was canceled. We've not gotten together since 2007.
I live in southern Virginia. 15 miles south out of my door, I would be in North Carolina. My wife works in Greensboro.
