Good morning... Fall is definitely here in Atlantic Canada. It certainly makes for a wonderful walk in the evening but a chilly morning..

Monday went better than I expected around work assignments, added 4 miles. Yesterday I was surprised to even manage 3 miles. After teaching I had to take my mom to get an epidural shot in her neck. She has a bone spur that is now causing severe headaches and even blackouts if she turns too fast. Now I remember where I get my stubborn streak, she looked at the nurse after the procedure and said she was just fine and really could drive herself home. About 45 minutes away. NO, that was why I was there. Let's hope this works, the only other option is surgery that they are not sure will help.

Welcome Back Spikesmom!!! I'm happy to see you moving, no matter how short the distance or how slow the pace.
@sussexbythesea I'm glad you are getting a little more moving in. Try not to get too excited and overdo it though. (That's advice most of us should listen to and most of us ignore until it is too late.)
Have a Great Wednesday All!

Adele: Your board is so cool. Glad that Spike and you are enjoying it together again.
Congrats Ceci on your new mileage record.
Oct. 5: 11.13 miles of 3.78 agonizing running miles plus 7.35 walking miles. Tough day at work and another day of sub shortages. That makes 4 times covering this year. I must say that it was fun teaching kindergarten.

Awoke to 31* & that white four letter word!!! Thank you Lord that it was gone when the sun came out. Had flurries through out the day but nothing stayed due to 2" of rain. The wind was 30+ mph so it was COLD out. Just having the crappy day made me sluggish but I did do a fast 3.25 mile walk on the TM.

Almost forgot to add my 1.5 miles wandering around the gym yesterday before my personal trainer session and before my TRX class. About to do night two out of six at work, hoping to get outside the one day off, Hurricane Matthew may have other ideas. Of course, the wind could make me hit my goal really fast.
My ticker is wonky, but it's 16.1 miles so far.0 -

Vhuber: Yuck on the white stuff and cold temps! I like Spikesmom's scenery right now.
2essie: Hoep you find out what is going on and get some relief.
Oct. 6: 15 miles today of cycling 7 miles and walking and jogging 8 miles. Used my new orthodontics yesterday that were suppose to have properties that reduce friction and blisters and today I have blister bandages every where. So thanks to my podiatrist for such a great recommendation. My feet are smarting.
