Coffee with HWC-my hubby used the ninja blender and didn't clean it grrrr
No choc chips, really happy that I'm not eating them. I think I was using them as a crutch.
Turkey burger with bleu cheese, caramelized onions on soul bread roll for dinner last night and lunch today
1st coat of paint on the outside of the cabinet doors last night.

I still dont have a set workout time daily which, is what I really need. However, I squeeked out 4 days last week and now haven't had a good run since Saturday. BUT, I'll go to the gym this afternoon snd should be able to go again tomorrow and Friday. So I'm looking at this as a 3 day "recovery" and hopefully the snow and ice is gone soon and I can work on that 10 min mile outdoors........1

Yesterday was good. Decent food choices (though I did still fall back on salami...oh salami, I love you)1 -
Well they sucked out all my blood...and now I get to wait 2 more weeks to talk to the dr about the results when they get back. ARGHHHHH!
Ok...maybe just lowercase argh because it's not unexpected.
Did Hero 90 plus a 45 in walk yesterday. But I'm going to have to switch around days today. The last time I did a bodyweight arm workout after a bunch of bloodwork, I almost passed out. And my arm swelled up near the needle site, so I'm not doing that again. So it will just be some kind cardio somehow. I haven't had time to look at the weather. I can guarantee it will be some variation of unseasonably warm and rainy or frickin cold. So maybe a lotta tabata?
Hurry up and wait...
Off to do tha thing.

Week #1 went well, I met three out of four of my goals
* exercising at least 4 days each week Check
* weighing all food when at homenot too much but was mindful of portions
* eating one salad everyday check
* stay on track during the weekends check
My goals for this week:
work out for 5 days
eat one piece of fruit everyday

Goal: Walk 80 miles in February, 3.5 mph or greater.
Week 1= 24.1 miles. Speed AOK
Today 2/8: 4.4 miles, 3.55 mph. Typical walk to the grocery store. Asparagus, radishes, ribeyes.2 -
12 minute mile today. Super proud. Had terrible form toward the end and erratic breathing and an old injury hurts a bit but. I did it!8

Looks like I'll be taking a few days off (see my other post in the discussion area). Sigh.1

Finally lost some weight after I added in exercise. That seems to shake off whatever fat/water my body is holding on to. Carbs staying in range. No more leg cramps or anything, finally. I guess that means I have adjusted.5

Scale dropped back down the 2 lbs that it had randomly bounced up. Unusual pattern lately.

2/8: Carbs and weight are in range. Collagen taken in my morning coffee. Took a run after work. Great weather today...tomorrow snow is forecast. My only household chore was doing dishes. I still have an earache and just don't feel like doing anything else.
Planning to go to bed early and maybe get up early and do my workout. We'll see how I feel.

I had a fab diggety day!
I did not work out. Because I sat on the couch watching Nurse Jackie all day. Haven't had a good marathon in months...worth it!
I drank loads of water. Boom.
I ate well. Vlc. Boom.
I can't believe it's already week two!
I haven't lost anything more, but week one I was down four and a half pounds, and I started hiit, so that figured about right.

I was supposed to go to a baby shower today but the mom to be went into labor last night! So that's kind of exciting. Nothing better than a baby.4 -
I F'd up.
It was a super stressful day but that shouldn't be an excuse.
Water was way down, I ate crumpets (2!) and a chocolate biscuit which totally annihilated my carb goal. However, stress meant that that was pretty much all I ate.
Today I will look after myself better...1 -
Morning Metafit class done and I'm doing a Muay Thai class after work also 2lbs water weight from last week has now gone, plus an extra pound! Feeling positive
Tomorrow marks 40 days on keto!3 -
I'm down four pounds since the start of Februrary (several of it water weight from bad choices in January). Was working out like a beast last week, dialed it back this week with pilates, yoga and hiking when my knees started groaning. Feeling great--no f'up February rocks!2

Did 40 min of HIIT yesterday. Carbs and calories good.
Today I should be able to finish the last workout I need to to be on the "right" workout in Hero 90 again.
I may weigh and check measurements soon since the evil TOM is leaving. Perhaps tomorrow.
Thunderstorms last night. Snow early in the am and through the morning...this weather is screwy as all get out.
Off to guzzle more coffee. At least it's Thursday.3 -
Exercise today was shoveling my driveway, more to do after work.
Made a nice BLT salad for dinner last night and starving today, very unusual.

I didn't do that badly during my time away in terms of carbs, just a few transgressions:). Calories are another story, paid absolutely no attention. But don't feel at all like I fell off the wagon like I did everytime I traveled before. This week I start motivated, and this week needs to be a good week. Had my period early this month, and wondering what the weight will be in a few days, hope I see some loss or at least no gain.3

2/9: Carbs good. Weight is in range. Down a little from my mega bloat. Collagen in my morning coffee. Woke up early for strength training. Did some gathering of trash, recycling, and dishes.2

Yesterday was a good day! I did the sort-of lazy kettlebells. Wash five dishes, do ten reps, wash five dishes, do ten different reps. Plus marching and jogging in place. Hey, it beats sitting on the couch right? Today I'll do an Amy workout.
I did really well yesterday calorie and carb wise. Also drank 120 ounces of water. I'm still the same weight, but it's that time, and my muscles are healing. I'm sure there will be a nice whoosh coming. That's how I like to lose. Nothing nothing nothing, BOOM three or four pounds gone. So I ain't sweating it.
Last week my calories were high, but getting back on keto after two weeks off, that's to be expected. I actually didn't snack last night after dinner, did not use hwc, so that's two habits I'm working on. Black coffee and no evening snacks! Day one of that DOWN the hatch! Woo Hoo!
This morning is black coffee! Gonna maybe add some coconut oil.1 -

2/10 status: I'm going to miss weights this Saturday...I'll be out of town and the weekend will be spent doing a lot of manual labor on the beach house, so I'm not going to take my weights or the disk with me...I'm still a bit sick and don't want to push things but so far until I'm back to 100%...I am going to stick to my deficit eating this weekend even though I'm ditching the kids and having a valentine's weekend with hubby!!!2 -
My scale gives ZERO Fs about my intake and exercise.
My body however, seems to be interested.
Since the end of last month:
Gained: on chest, biceps, and forearms
Lost: .75in on upper waist (the nipped in part), 1.75in around my navel, .75in on hips, .25 on each thigh. .25in around my neck
Somebody was retaining a fair bit of water. So recomp. My waist is the smallest it's ever been. Just hoping the scale will stop being a lazy turd soon and give up a few pounds. I cannot abide still weighing more than my husband. Not frickin' fair. Even if it is muscle. I do still have plenty of bodyfat to lose. It needs to go. Just a little bit more of it.
Anyway, did my workout. Have another to do today. Today will finish properly my disjointed, moved-around workouts to complete week 5 of Hero 90 free and clear.
Send strong vibes my way to stay away from le booze and not go overboard tomorrow too much. The lack of 385 extra calories of alcohol should help things out quite a bit. Most people become lightweights on LC/keto. I never did. It takes 6 oz of hard liquor to get me where I like to be. I'm not a cheap date. And the next day, my nerves are frayed, I'm depressed, and hangry. So forget that noise. I have enough problems, getting rid of one would be nice.

I'm sick...waaaaaa.
Cals and carbs right on course---because I haven't eaten.
However, I can't get my butt off the couch. So my vivosmart is very very cross with me. And I'm coughy and achy. Plus I'm out of NyQuil and you can't buy it here. I wonder if we have any tequila?

Feel better soon @Ringbearer2. I too feel like I'm getting a cold for certain. I like bourbon in hot tea for that. Better than Nyquil!2

Today was great ! But....I didn't work out. I didn't do it. I went grocery shopping instead. And watched a documentary about human origin. Tres fascinating. Anyway, otherwise it was a grand day. Grand, I say!!
No *kitten* ups today!
Plus I lost a pound of that special lady time water.2 -
Today was good, other than not fitting in a workout.
I had to estimate lunch calories since it was at a local restaurant (coffee with cream and Splenda, steak, and sauteed collard greens with bacon) but AFAIK, cals were under, carbs were pretty low, healthy choices.
The bright side of indulging in that sugary cake yesterday is that sweets mostly gross me out today.0 -
