So we kinda forgot about our king last week. So I found some special leprachauns for @Vowder. They are waiting for you buddy!! I hope you can forgive us!!!2 -
CHALLENGE #3
I ate five green vegetables tonight. They were bell pepper, lettuce, spinach, broccoli and cucumber. I made a taco salad (minus the chips and shell) with turkey meat and mushrooms. I really needed this healthy challenge (I've eaten really crappy these past few days and feel blah from it).

I made some progress on the list of green fruits and veggies today too. I had spinach, brussel sprouts, and avocado. The brussel sprouts were interesting - I had leftover taco meat and I roasted the brussel sprounts with some olive oil and taco seasoning, and then topped it with the meat (which also had red peppers in it), and added on some avocado and sour cream. It was quite delicious.
The spinach I had in this:
Technically I also had lime - a little squirt of lime with my taco meal AND key lime ice cream for dessert! I won't count that though. I bought lots of stuff to finish out the challenge and will post the full thing officially when I'm done.
I didn't end up having time for yoga this morning, so I just did a 30 minute treadmill run. Tonight after work I took Stella out for a much needed long hike/walk. She was feeling pretty cooped up because it's been so cold we haven't gotten our full walks in for a few days. She was extra zoomy on the walk and the temps were a little warmer so it was bearable to be out for an hour.
Tonight the snow comes! It's winter storm STELLA!!! Can you believe they named a storm after my girl? Hope it lives up to her craziness.

COBH three years ago!
My sister and her husband, me in blue, and my brother-in-law, while my husband takes the picture in front of our new dream home. We figured it is big enough that we won't get on each other's nerves!!

Green beans, Broccoli, Lettuce, Green peppers, cucumbers.
Tuna with the beans at lunch. Skinny chicken Alfredo with the broccoli. Salad.2 -
@ka97 did you ever think you would see the day that @hawkins410 would take us back to Ireland and not makes us do the jig!!! Boy is she getting mellow!4
-
Oh this green food will be fun. I'll count two tonight - salad greens and wasabi!
Does this salad make my Margarita look green?
Where was all that lovely fresh ginger last week?
ETA: Thinking about it, there was a lime in the margarita. Thanks for the idea @katharmonic1 -
I'm still here and 70 messages behind.
Saw it was Ireland and got an anxiety attack. Thought I was in for some more Irish dancing. LOL
Looking forward to making it to Ireland. Didn't realize there were so many sexy leprechauns. Now I am ready to go!
I've been at a leadership conference in Banff Alberta. Great location! Ok conference. Great pool and gym.
My ankle is getting better. I've been doing the exercises but it does still get sore after longer walks.
I'm ready for a strong finish! Let's go!

Challenge #3
Cucumber, Lettuce, Bell Pepper, Spinach, Broccoli, Guacamole ( I'm an over achiever! LOL)
Just took everything green on the awesome salad bar today. I even had some chicken with pesto sauce.5 -
Howdy all! Yesterday was not a good first day back. My lunch consisted of ....cookies. Yep, just cookies. Raw dough and a bag of famous Amos. Then leftover Chinese for dinner (there was broccoli!!) and popcorn while catching up on recorded shows. No wonder I feel like sludge this morning! Off to get my first 5k done and I'm on my way with the steps. I may do the stretching video though. It didn't help my golf game last week but I think that was due more to the course and s-l-o-w play which wrecks my game.
And I too was stunned we didn't have step dancing or clogging to do this week! Not complaining though!4 -
@katharmonic boy I wouldn't mess with that little puppy dog and make her mad!! Stella sure made my drive to work tough. And I know it is a lot worse other places.4

I imagine you guys are sick of the snow! No snow here but cold! It's suppose to be Spring already!!!!2

CHALLENGE #3
I ate my four green veggies today. They were brussel sprouts, green beans, asparagus, and zucchini. Roasted in the oven with olive oil and garlic salt as my lunch which was chicken piccata.2 -
CHALLENGE #1:
I CHOSE THE SYDNEY BRIDGE CLIMB CHALLENGE FROM WEEK 3(AUSTRALIA).
I CHOSE THIS CHALLENGE BECAUSE I LIKE TO SCALE TALL BUILDINGS IN MANY, MANY MULTIPLES OF SINGLE BOUNDS. I climbed 131 floors on the stairmill this morning - 1572 steps according to your calculations, but my stairmill has 17 steps per floor, so really 2227 steps.3 -
I did a 5K this morning but I'm not sure what I'm going to do for my other challenge yet so I'm holding off on choosing which 5K I did!1

@MimiOfTheLusciousLawn you truly are super woman2

Winter storm Stella is raging along here!
I managed to get out of the house this morning and go to a group indoor track running workout. It was great because only 2 other people showed up and I got a lot of time talking with the coach. Then I got home and ate some lunch before heading out with Stella, the dog, into Stella, the storm. We had a pretty but tough hike in the snow. It was so quiet and beautiful in the woods. We saw a really big coyote that made me a bit nervous but was gorgeous to see against the snow. Thankfully she kept moving the other way because he/she and Stella definitely saw each other. I would never have seen it without the snow.
@MimiOfTheLusciousLawn wowee on cranking out those stairs! My quads ache in sympathy.
@ejdp254 great job on your Iditarod.
@cardbucfan good job on your 5k too!
All the veggies are sounding good! I need to start working on dinner!3 -
@120maggie: I LOVE YOUR PICTURES OF COBH! THAT HOUSE LOOKS BIG ENOUGH FOR THE WHOLE TEAM!
PARTY AT YOUR HOUSE AS SOON AS WE ARRIVE ON SHORE!
@junodog1: NOPE, SORRY, THAT MARGARITA DOESN'T COUNT! LOVE THE CREAIVITY THOUGH!
@katharmonic: A STORM NAMED AFTER STELLA! HOW COOL IS THAT?!
SHE IS SO ADORABLE IN HER OWN STORM!
@Vowder: NOW THAT THE PUPPIES ARE GONE, IT LOOKS LIKE @mamaelf2008 GAVE YOU ANOTHER "HANDFUL"!
HOW DO YOU ALL KNOW I'M NOT PLANNING A "BONUS POINT" JIG STARTING TOMORROW?!
WHO IS MELLOW NOW?! *mutter mutter*
KEEP UP WITH THE GREAT WORK TEAM! LAST WEEK WE HIT 1300 POINTS - AN ALL TIME HIGH!
******LET'S BEAT IT! ******

Challenge #1 completed
I chose the Iditarod 10.49 miles from the Alaska leg last week. I'm trying to meet my goal of running 95 miles this month so I needed the miles anyway and it is appropriately Alaskan out there right now! I ran 2.6 miles yesterday and 5.0 miles today (both indoor) and I hiked with Stella outdoors for 2.8 miles yesterday and 2.5 miles today. So the total came to over 12 miles.2 -

Challenge 3-
Green green and more green
Cabbage casserole
Chicken n Cauliflower Rixe with Broccoli
Kiwi
Geeen grapes
And that salad mix has Brussel sprouts, kale, cabbage, romaine and green onions
I think I just Nailed Challenge 3!!!! And everything was healthy!! Wanted to have green gummy worms but didn't want to get poopooed by his majesty!!!3 -
For challenge 1 I will be doing the Sydney Bridge Climb. I'll be finished with it tomorrow. I'm up to 948. I like taking the stairs instead of elevators so my work makes it easy to get the challenge done.
Not sure about Challenge 2 yet3 -
@mamaelf2008: You definitely nailed Challenge #3. That is a whole lotta green!
Yes, "His Majesty" would have poopooed the Green Gummy Bears. He even turned down my Chocolate Chip Mint Ice Cream!
@ejdp254: I'm not sure if riding your bike will count for the Iditarod! I won't be able to find out until tomorrow, so maybe you might want to start another challenge just in case *HE* won't accept it.
PLEASE STAY AND SAFE IN THIS STORM!1 -

You could always put a few sprigs of mint on top of your ice cream to make it legal! Hahahaa just kidding3 -
Challenge #3
Green vegetables this week (thus far!) - green bell peppers, cucumbers, celery, broccoli, spinach, avacado2
