Pretzel crisps and roasted red pepper dip overload.
    this morning 283 (15.7) Two hours later(after insulin kicked in) 7.5 (135).

Skipping meals, Like you Jim, sometimes I run out the door to do a 'small errand' and three hours later I realize I've skipped lunch or supper. My sugars are either rock bottom or soaring through the roof. Doesn't seem to work very well for me to skip a meal. That said, I don't have breakfast until 10:00 in the morning, so technically, it's brunch.

    Lifted from a smarter friend...

The idea behind eating less frequently has to do with tapping into fat storage between the insulin responses that follow eating. You can't burn significant body fat when insulin is triggered to deal with food (especially carbs and, to a lesser extent, excess protein). If you can allow your body time between meals, you can lower your insulin level and begin to burn body fat.

    For example.

3 meals a day. No snacks.

203 today - at least everything is staying consistent - I need to get some regular exercise going. That would make a difference!

@edintx you do frequently discuss that with your medical staff?

It's all new to me. My next appt is in about 4 weeks. This is one of the first things on my list of concerns. I hate waking up disoriented and shaky. It's not always this low, but 5 of the last 7 days have been lower than normal

    Which meds are you on?
Have you retested on another glucose meter?

98 this morning, 91 yesterday. My meter says my 7d avg - 93, 14d avg - 94, 30d avg - 98, and 90d avg - 105. yay, keto... steadily getting better... feel pretty good about all of it since my last doctor visit had me at fasting 204 and a1c of 9.5.

Doctor going to be very surprised come May at my checkup. ^_^

7.1 (128). Stomach pain this morning. I'm thinking the oranges I had last night didn't agree with me.
