First time in the water for a while. A quick noon hour dip as the Evening Lane swim has been taken over by a Free Public swim ( Local company pays the Pool Time for the Evening ). Good for the community - bad for us lane Swimmers.

Took a few weeks off, and back in the pool now.
3000 yard @ 60 minutes. Yes, I felt it, but I am glad to be back in the water.
@emmab0902 amazing results at your competition, so many personal bests!
Hope your China trip is going well, @fishgutzy
@juliet3455 I had never seen the forearm fulcrum, would be interesting to play with...thanks for sharing
Love coming back in here and seeing everyone, @nuffer, @rosebarnalice, @girlswithcurls2 @Bruceapple, @theowlbox and everyone keeping up their laps and workouts!2 -

Halfway through this trip.
Took a break from swimming last night. I was still too sore from hitting the weight room on Sunday.
Swimming after work today.
Over all the swimming lane conditions have been good. With more people doing front crawl, fewer breast strokers dare come in.2 -
Yes, 1 mile @ 62 minutes2
-
40 mins laps front crawl and my weird modified sidestroke.1
-
3000 yards @ 60 minutes. I had planned to not swim tomorrow and go for a long walk, but with the temp hitting into the 90's I think I will switch up my plans. The beauty of swimming.1
-
4 miles last night.
Had to deal with a woman who thought the lap lane was for walking in the water for a bit. Being the nice guy that I am I got her holding right to the wall a few times
Later in the the swim, had to pass frog kickers.

45 min breast, front crawl, back crawl. Won't listen my distance cuz it looks pathetic next to the rest of these. But I made progress & had fun, which is what matters!2

Please don't feel like that. I might be one of the faster swimmers here, but that really means nothing. When I go to swim meets, it's not the super fast people I admire. It's the oldies and those giving it a go and enjoying it who I love watching and respect more than anything. It's about our love for the water4 -
3000 yards @ 60 minutes.0
-
30 mins side stroke and front crawl.1
-
45 minutes today. Kind of mixed swim and drills. I got to share the lane with a guy who is just about the same pace as myself. We swim well together. I don't even know his name...
A hard swim, but I needed it. I arrived with a splitting headache, but left totally worn out and feeling good2 -

Anyone who can now fit in one leg of her old clothes is an inspiration. I saw that profile photo.3 -
3000 yards @ 60 minutes. Four workouts this week when I had only planned 3 so that is a win. The hot weather here had me swimming instead of walking. Cooling off this weekend and looking forward to getting back out along the river.1

Most of this year it's been once or twice since our club pool closed in December!
Trying to get three or four swims a week as of last week - made it four times last week but it's hard with full-time work and four kids (on my own) - life is busy!1 -
