My long slow run was petty slow. 8 miles but four stops. Three for water and one for a hill. On to week 6.

Hi y'all. I'm still with it. Had to take a week off when I couldn't overcome my crappy sleeping schedule. (Hubby worked 12 hour night shifts) I'm back on track (literally lol) and started C210K week 12 today.

    Mile1 : 13:51
    Mile 2: 12:40
    Mile 3: 12:30
    Mile 4: 12:21
    Mile 5: 12:14
    5.48: 15:14

I may not be fast, but I'm consistent. I guess. Should I even be worried about my pace, or should I just concentrate on getting through the program at this point?

I wouldn't worry about pace at this point.

Great job getting back at it! Maybe I will get back at it someday.

I'm pretty slow, but love running so I don't worry about it. I like to say I'm slow but willing

Since my last post I did two workouts in week 6, then had to skip two because I was doing some fairly demanding physical work. This week I've got the first two runs of week 7 done.

I ran this morning, first time since April. I started with Zero to 10k, week 4 day 1. It wasn't as bad as I had expected. I will jump to week 5 next time.

Just over 2 miles in 25:32 including some walking intervals.

I'm sure it helps to ride all those miles.

I am still out here plugging away. Doing some 5k races and getting some miles in when I can. Without a plan, it is easier to skip runs. That is not good for me!

Rode 17 miles after work, then ran after dinner (once it cooled down a little). 2.14 miles in 26 minutes including walking intervals. This was w5d1 of the Zero to 10k plan on Rundouble.
