I'm curious if broths and soups have been a big part of your diet the last week. The reason is the ungodly high amounts of sodium that are in those items unless made fresh at home. I think for some soups it's along the lines 1,200 mg per serving (1/2 cup to a cup)1 -

Thanks, after a bit I started to review what I was intaking, not just eating and realized that I was getting in alot of calories and such from the drinks as the solid foods made me nauseous so I was drinking Vitamalt Plus just about everyday, sometimes up to twice a day as the medicine I was on kept saying take with food....
I completely overlooked the sodium content of the soups1 -
