That would have to be one of the hardest sessions I've done. Possibly still a bit tired from Saturdays ocean swim and still getting over respiratory infection. 3200m
The combination would have me exhausted, Well done pushing through.

2500m lots of people in the lane today so nothing complex, just go for as long as I could in the gaps available :D

4 miles today. Travel day tomorrow. China for a month again.
Shanghai this time. Hotel instead of apartment so food is going suck. Swimming will be at Will's Gym. So I'll get kicked and scratched a few times. But better than not swimming at all.
    That's a bit of a double suckfest.

Drank lots of water trying to do the 4 dolphins off the wall in Backstroke. Was getting better.
Feeling my shoulders a little bit from the fly. Coach had us use Fins on the Fly & Backstroke on the IM set. Still an un-coordinated mess doing fly.

    1600m

7 people in MY lane!! tch! 7!! :s

    1000m front crawl

circuit class, around 150m - did more upper body work with bricks and floats than actual swimming. But I did impress instructor with 37 odd meters underwater :D

then final 600m mix of breast stroke and front crawl, depending on others in lane.

@beerfoamy Thats not a silly Question.
For our club it could be 2 different ways.
RI Rest Interval =45 seconds rest after completing the 25m.
S+RI combined = look at the clock and do the 25m swim then look at the clock and wait until 45 secs have passed from when you first looked at it before you take off on the next 25m length.

So I am not quite sure what context @YosemiteSlamAK was using.

Blargh. I'm in a tough head space. Some medical testing coming up that has gotten into my head. Crappy swim for no reason other than bad head space + not great music on the ipod. All excuses. I guess I'm going with "glad I got there" for this one...

Now, I need to "get there" tomorrow too ;)

Last night for a 4 mile swim in after work.
    Will's gym in Shanghai.
Had the lane to myself most of the time.
Swimming does help with jet lag.

I did get there. Got my 50 laps in (plus one for fishgutzy). It felt pretty good. The pool was crowded when I arrived, but most were finishing up, so I had my own lane for the second half of my swim. I still stop kicking when I pull through on my right side. I'm not sure why, but working on keeping my focus there.

Some great swims on this board. I'm in awe of some of the distances and times.

Back this morning for 45 laps. Nothing spectacular. But I did get there and get it done. Little bit of circle swimming which I wasn't up for, but it wasn't too bad. The other gal in the lane was a little slower than I am, the guy was huge and looked like he was going to swim over us, but turns out he was either slow, or not out to swim over us. Well paced.

Then I stopped for coffee and doughnuts for my crew at home. It's our youngest's birthday (15), so lots of coffee and treats. I LOVE doughnuts, but just don't eat them because it's almost impossible to stop me. I had a tiny slice out of one and stopped. Which is the bigger victory: getting to swimming or tiny bite of doughnut? Discuss.
