3.2 pounds lost this week! I’m pleasantly surprised. This week was my birthday week, and I went out to eat a few times, so I was nervous about how that might reflect on the scale, but it turned out good. ^^
My waist is also 32.5 inches as of yesterday, the smallest it’s ever been, and that pretty much marks 10 inches off of my waist since the beginning of my journey! (I started with a 42 inch waist)
And lastly, I went out clothes shopping two days ago, and I can now shop in straight sizes, and fit into a size large! I’m so excited. I got a few cute, new things that I love. (I started out wearing a size 3x)
I’m very satisfied with this week.

I shouldn't be surprised and technically am not, but am disappointed in myself. I weigh myself daily and have been fine with daily fluctuations, but since I started this journey on 11/3/17, this is the first week that I didn't lose for the week. In past attempts to lose weight, this is where my efforts would now be sabotaged. I'm hoping that since I'm aware of the pattern that I won't let this little bump in the road completely derail my efforts. I've lost over 47 pounds since I started 4 1/2 months ago. That's a great success. I'm just hoping I can hit the 50-pound mark without letting these little mishaps get in my way. Here's to a better week this week. At least I've started drinking my water again!!3 -

Was really hoping to hit the 280's this week, but it was not to be. At least I know that I should be in the 280's next week. This week was really stressful between work and my civic activities. I have decided to just take some time out for me, so I am going to rest this weekend, go out with a few friends (tomorrow will be a trial, we are going to dinner and a play, I know this will be a temptation as we are headed to Outback and I love, love, love.... did I mention love their fully loaded potato soup with bacon and chives, and lets not forget the chocolate thunder from down under....) Pray for me guys, because I am going in there with the thought of I am strong, I am invincible... I am womannnn......3 -
