    Sorry for all the continued snow everyone is getting up North! While I grew up in OH, I have been in FL for 24 years now. While i do miss the snow, I don't think I would be able to drive in it without white knuckling it the whole time.

    Like Janet said...lots of folks are extremely close to GOAL! I only have 1 mile left and expect to get that done (and then some!) tomorrow morning!! :+1:

    @KAR328 - That's wonderful to hear about your 5K! I'm glad you were able to stick to your own pace without the accompanying angst as others move ahead. I think I may have told you about the story of me not letting the Navy guy in pink tights and pink tshirt pass me in a 5K in my younger days while in the Marine Corps and it almost killed me ... trying to get ahead of him again and stay that way... :lol: I'd be much more chill about it these days!

    I took a rest day Saturday and lifted and did a 1 mile treadmill walk/run yesterday followed by another rest day today. I had a car appointment this morning. Back at it tomorrow!

    I hadn't heard that story @Dave, wish there was photographic evidence of it. :smiley: The bigger test is in a few weeks, that race is 4 miles and has one of my trainer's other clients in it, she's got the height, weight, speed, and a lot of other things going for her that get to my psyche, yes I'm jealous, and I need to work on that.

    Yesterday I did goat yoga, and had a huge amount of fun doing it. Didn't get a lot of yoga done, but laughed and hugged goats like crazy.

    adding 2.5 miles today in Boot Camp - one of those circuit themed classes where you run laps between each one. The last one sucked, you get back from running 3 laps, do two of all seven exercises which takes about a minute and a half, then out on the track for another 4! :angry: It's fun though.

    I upped my mixed treadmill workout to 2.0 miles of Walk3/R1 and then did 3 miles on the bike.

    Great job everyone! Still a good 3 or 4 days left to get your miles done...of the regular or bonus variety! :smiley:

    Had an early phone meeting this morning so no gym, but will get out for a good walk this afternoon. And I couldn't stand it any longer so even though they dropped our forecast high from 51F to 48F, I decided to ride my motorcycle to work anyway. :smile: A little on the cool side, but it felt great and I was smiling ear-to-ear.
