@vhuber: Thank you for the prayers.Need all I can get. I think you should take up Dean’s idea and have the hunters pick up the paint along the way. Call it in and have it ready.
@cpanus: You and I are having the same kind of year. The Protalus did not help vhuber but I have two people in my running club that just got them and said they are already working for them. Both have PF. Great people. Try for 90 days and money back guarantee.
Oct. 12:
I got my ortho consult for Monday. Hopefully they can do something. I walked 5 miles today without an issue and came home and raked leaves and my knee gave out twice. Stupid Meniscus! Hurts like all heck when it does it. Got on the bike and rode for 5 tonight for total of 10.

I was Run Director at our local parkrun today - very nerve wracking .... also very wet as Storm Callum swept across the NW. I was like a drowned rat when I finished.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.2 -

Hello friends. I seem to have lost my motivation. By any chance has anyone found it?0 -

Today was a lazy day for me. I spent most of the day on the computer shopping! LOL I did get laundry done but we did a major house clean yesterday so it didn't need my touch today except for dishes after cooking. I need to get garden & flower beds winterized but it was super windy & cold today. I did ride 10 this evening on the ex bike.

@k80flec - good for you for racing in those conditions. Hope you have recovered.
@vhuber - I find it hard to believe you have lost your motivation when you are at 94% of goal! You are beyond human most of the time. Maybe you've just joined us mortals since being sick? LOL
@kar328 - good luck with your race next week. I bet 5 is no problem for you.
I finally got out and did a run today and I'm glad I did. Somehow I've just managed to squeeze back into the green.
Let's see if I can keep it up.1 -

Nothing for me today. Didn't get home from church till 1:30. Kicked back in my lazy boy for a cat nap & then the rest of the day I had people in & out. Made a fried chicken dinner for the hunters & a nice visit till almost 9 pm. They filled their 3 tags & will head back west tomorrow. Needless to say but no *kitten* moving for me today!0

Late starting. I’m depressed because I’m hardly able to run and don’t have any events booked I’m still moving though. Please put me down for 90 miles and thanks for all the work you put in to this site!

OK everyone. Today is a new day. The past is behind you so let it go. No matter what you ate, how much you exercised (or didn't), or how much you struggled with how fit you are (or aren't), today is a new day and a fresh start. If you're healthy, let's get back to it. If you're injured, do what you need to in order to get healed. Tomorrow is promised to no one and yesterday is in the past. Let's work on what we can do today.8

Oct. 15: Adding 8 miles today. Walked before going to my ortho appointment and did a very slow 4 x bike miles.
TTD: 135 miles
Well said Dean! Hang in their Leanz. I am going to keep moving. As old time Jack LaLanne would say, “Rest and Rot”. My saying is “Rest and Rust”. My X-ray showed my surgical knee looks like I am bone on bone where my surgery took place four years ago. My injured knee shows most likely a tear. They injected the joint to see if it settles down. I have 40 days to see if it improves and if not back in for an MRI. I am gearing up for cycling now and saying farewell to my running. At least no more races for me. Maybe I will get some trail running in from time to time. I am going to preserve my knee, what is left of it. Looks like a fat tire bike Dean! I have an excuse. I have enough running shoes till I die. Darn, why did I have to find out if I would like running and falll in love with it.
Hang in folks and keep moving whatever you can do.1 -

I always wanted to ask you if you do your cycling miles all at one time or through out your day? It looks like it will be my new exercise means along with walking, hiking and swimming.0
