Hi ladies.... I’ve been lurking in this group for ages, but never actually posted I don’t think.... have been reading through all of the comments, seems like a very exciting time for many!
We’ve been TTC for a little over 4 years now, had a m/c in 2016, and have just started a fertility treatment programme- I’ve been working hard on losing weight to help with the process, and am down a little over 60 pds now (nearly 30kg). Dr is very happy and I’m about to start on Letrozole (Femara).

Had blood tests yesterday and Dr will call me with the results this afternoon. If my hormone levels are right, I can start my first round tomorrow.

Hubby and I are very excited... trying not to be, but we just want to conceive so badly...

Please cross your fingers/ pray for us!!!

@VeryKatie well that sucks and hopefully he doesn't contact you. I'm glad you like the maternity leave specialist. I think it helps make those situations easier. Novrmber 2nd will be here before you know it!

@Leannep2201 I'm glad you decided to post! I'm wishing you all the luck with the fertility treatments and baby dancing!!! I have a friend who did IVF. They didnt get pregnant from it, but got pregnant naturally the cycle right after. She says it was the best money she ever spent because she is sure it resolved whatever was going on (their infertility was unexplained).

@WifiresGettingFit 3 weeks today! Kinda crazy!

    Thanks @VeryKatie and @WifiresGettingFit :)
Very Katie.... I can’t wait to be where you are, with only a few weeks to wait. I saw the photos of your son in earlier posts, gosh he’s gorgeous!
Got my blood test results, dr said I’m in the wrong part of my cycle because I’ve ovulated (Whaaaaaat???? I NEVER ovulate naturally!!!) and on the first day of my period I can start the Letrozole- he said it should be in the next week, but if I haven’t got it in two weeks to call again and we will repeat the blood tests- my periods are known to be very irregular.

Been spotting the last couple of days, so I’m hoping it arrives so I can start my Letrozole!

I'm having an issue. I've fallen in love with a name for the baby and I feel like my brain is just going "yup, that's the name. Done." meanwhile I haven't even talked to my husband about it hahaha. Tina Gabrielle Harris sounds so nice though :)

Cute name!!!! I love the name Gabrielle, and Tina is cute too! I’m sure you can manage to bribe.... ahem, convince.... hubby?

@WifiresGettingFit the name was approved as an option lol. We are trying to think of 2 more combos to go to the hospital with.

@VeryKatie two different name combos or two combos with Tina?

Anyway, I like making suggestions no one asked for so here goes. Haha (keeping in mind I can't remember your naming preferences so you will probably hate them all haha)

Tina Leanne (a sort of homage to Lekatie)
    Tina Michelle (similar to Gabrielle)
    Tina Elaine
    Tina Marie
    Tina Anne
    Tina Diane
    Tina Rae

And for the others on your list:

    Faith Noelle
    Faith Elizabeth
    Faith Caroline
    Faith Louise
    Faith Isobel

And I think I'll stop there. Haha don't want to bombard you with something you didn't even ask for haha plus Faith is a trying name when it comes to picking a middle name that flows at least for me. Haha

Maybe it'll help get the name ideas flowing though. =P

    Some cute names @WifiresGettingFit
I’ve always loved the name Faith too.

Well, I’ve taken my first round of Letrozole. It’s now day 8, and I’ve been told that the “trying” period is between days 10-21, in order to hit my fertile window.

So roll on day 10, and please keep your fingers crossed for me that we will manage to conceive!!!

@Leannep2201 Hi! Cheering for you this round.
@pezhed I experienced the lonliness and isolation while pregnant too. I just felt like it was hard to relate to my friends, especially when I was home sick a lot. Hope you find a good group of peeps soon! Enjoy the choir!
@VeryKatie Super excited about your baby girl! The name is adorable! Sorry the boss has been a creep.
@mebelfanti Hope your nausea is better by now. If not, unisom doxylamine succinate with a b complex vitamin is what kept me going. It's an OTC version of Diclegis, the prescription anti-nausea med.

Just, excited to see how everyone is doing on their pregnancy journeys. :)

    Hope everyone is well!!!
So today is day 13 of my cycle, and I’ve had a very slight bit of spotting, and some tiny little pinching cramps that didn’t last very long. Not something I’ve ever noticed before.
It should be about the time I’m ovulating right now.... so hard to tell though!

Anyone else notice these things when ovulating?

@Leannep2201 I've had friends tell me they feel the pain of ovulation when they are paying attention, so not uncommon! I personally never felt it, but I also dont get period cramps often and when I do they're not so bad. So my body just might not be very sensitive in that region.

A google search shows some very light spotting can happen too, but might be a couple days into ovulation. So possibly after the egg is released. But that was a very quick search!

Thanks @VeryKatie , I get really bad period cramps so that’s something my body does do well!!!
Will keep my fingers crossed that I’ve ovulated then... having PCOS, ovulation has been my problem in the past! Really hoping this medication helps.

How’s your pregnancy going? You must be getting so excited about meeting your wee one!!!

@Leannep2201 That's great that it seems like the meds are working! Are you tracking your LH levels with ovulation kits at all? I am still wishing you the best!

My pregnancy is going well so far, just lack of sleep and stress that I'm dealing with. But this is my last week of work (unbeknowest to my coworkers or boss...) as I've been approved for stress leave. So I'll be off work From Nov 3 until my mat leave starts January 26th. I am going to nap. Oh yes. Nap. And clean the house and play with my toddler and be happier. I am very excited to meet her too, but I keep saying "I'm so excited, but stay in there a little longer!" I don't know why, but I've been paranoid about preterm labour for some reason. I don't have a history of it, nor a medical condition (other than maybe the lack of sleep) that would predict it... but my brain keeps going there.

@Leannep2201 I often, though not always, feel when I ovulate from the right ovary. It will be gentle pinching cramps like you describe. Like you, I also have a history of really bad period cramps, though strangely pregnancy seems to have seriously helped that issue.

@VeryKatie Yay for your last week of work!! Enjoy all the naps and generally taking advantage of this time. You deserve it!
