I am impressed by the few of you who are continuing to post daily and do the mini challenge. More of us should be as committed and organized!!
We pick up our son today from the airport. Originally I thought he was coming in at 9:40 pm, but that is his return flight. He arrives at 4:15 pm instead! Good thing we checked, and good thing my husband scheduled all his meetings for the morning! We'll leave the house around 3 pm to drive to Toronto.3 -

I held a family get together and although I didn't eat as much as I usually do, i still managed to over eat. It is crazy how much you take in as calories without realizing it, seven when you are careful

I have a busy couple of days ahead of me. I will be entering weights, but maybe not too much time for commenting. We picked our son up from the airport last night...so great to have him home for four weeks! Well, at least in Ontario for four weeks; he does have plans to travel to see some of his friends. But this morning, both of my (grown) sons are home and sleeping in their bedrooms. It warms my heart!!4

. This is my first gain in a very long time. Granted, it’s basically a maintain, but still. The only consolation I have is I did absolutely everything I could correct. Drank lots of water, stayed under calorie goal, worked out, slept well. I guess it’s time for me to experience this whole non linear mumbo jumbo everyone talks about, lol
I’m sure next week will show improvement. I’m enjoying the holiday events but trying to find non food enjoyments because after all, eating tons of stuff because of “some event or reason” is the way I got overweight. I’m finding being with friends and family, and staying on plan, is much more rewarding than stuffing my face.3 -
