Ugh, I've gained back 17 lbs just in the past couple months, after 6 years of maintenance. Dealing (or not...) with PTSD and dx of Major Depressive Disorder due to an criminal attack on me at work, and currently helping 3 elderly parents with serious health problems. Started therapy (paid by work insurance.) I eat my pain... generally a bad combo of carby chips/crisps and big hunks of cheddar. Every day I start off fine, but on my night shifts I tend to go crazy eating constantly thru the shift or on the couch while I read on my evenings off. I am trying to do some guided imagery at bedtime after shift or evenings at home when feeling stressed.
So.
Time for accountability on here. Right now it is too much to focus on filling out an MFP food diary again but I will at least be aware of what I am eating or feel like eating and try not to do so mindlessly.

I mentioned in another post about IF. I basically try to do 16/ 8 . I eat breakfast, lunch and a 2 pm or 3pm snack. I just seem to do better skipping dinner rather than skipping breakfast. Initially it was tough, but now I feel uncomfortable if I have a meal outside my eating window. I do go out to dinner with my family / friends some weekends. I don’t overthink fasting hrs etc. I eat something light since my body is not used to a lot of food in the evenings.
I must mention that I did have some issue with insomnia. It went away after some time.

I am totally in! I’m in a “10 pounds by Easter mini challenge” and have 3.2 to lose for that one by April 21 so this will extend that for me! Perfect! It may be hard for me to get down 10 pounds since I’m on my last vanity pounds but I’ll try!!!!!!

My snacks got out of hand today, so I took a five mile run to cover it. Running is my best friend on Double Stars day! 🤣_vicky2291 wrote: »Day 4 completed successfully.
Tomorrow is going to be challenging. I'm trying to get in to the habit of getting up at 5am but I'm not going to the gym tomorrow so I may lack motivation to get up. Planning to go for a walk, stretch and do some washing up.

Fell hard again tonight but stopping my cervelat salami and habanero cheddar-fest before 9:30. So - partial win!

Down 1 lb since Monday! Crazy how for us gals with fewer pounds to lose, 1 lb is like -- OMG YAAAASS hahaha. My TOM is approaching (Sunday or Monday) so am keeping an eye out for the stinkin bloat/water weight increase!
A little less than two months till Memorial Day and 77 days till I go on vacay aka 77 days to get shredded LOL!1 -

Hooray for all wins - partial or not! Keep going!0 -
I'd love to participate in this! Been on MFP since January (used it a couple years ago as well) but just now started looking/participating in the forums. 10 pounds by memorial day sounds good but I've got a cruise in mid May that might throw things off a bit.

Oof I feel ya on those work days that are so hectic you don't get to eat. Today is a new day! xoxo0 -
First week in this challenge:

Happy to see a drop! I'm sure a good bit of that is bloat/water weight since it was my first week. Hopefully can use this momentum and keep going. Still aiming for mid-130's by my birthday in June.0 -

***This was a really food heavy week for me because of work. We had our gala so there were lots of tasty treats around, my boss brought in donuts randomly one day, and I ate out three times due to various reason. I made sure to enjoy myself food wise b/c it's not something that happens everyday, but I did make sure to try to stay in my calorie budget as best as I could. Some days I did really well and others were pretty bad, but I just took it one day at a time. My goal was actually to just maintain b/c I knew it was a food heavy week and I didn't get to exercise as much as I wanted to. I was happily surprised by the loss.1 -

I weighed in at 128.0 on Thursday (3/28) and had some treats Friday-Sunday which accounts for some of the weight gain. I also blame TOM which started yesterday evening and, probably most importantly *** TMI ALERT *** I haven't umm... "gone" to the bathroom since Thursday (is there a classy MFP term for this??). SEND HALP. Also my tummy always gets "messed up" when it's my TOM. Anybody else experience this?! Anyway, I am not concerned about the "weight gain" from last week. Actually hoping to see a "whoosh" at the end of this week which I typically experience as my TOM ends.
On a totally different note, I revived my weight loss Instagram page - does anybody else use Instagram for weight loss?? I post what I eat and also follow food pages, fitness people etc. for motivation. LMK - would love to follow you guys there too!
Cheers to all! Have a great Monday/week!0 -
Gained 6 lbs, dropped that 6 lbs, now looking for 5 more! Just squeezing in home workouts between running after 2 crazy littles. Need to eat better!

I'd like to join! I've been having a really hard time actually committing to losing weight since my daughter was born (which was OVER two years ago now!) and I really want to lose about 15-20 pounds. 10 pounds by summer is probably a bit of stretch for me but I'd be so happy if I could do it! I'm a teacher and our last day of school is June 19th, so I'm going to use that as my official start of summer
Last night I weighed in at 148.8 pounds.

A little behind on weighing in (I usually weigh in on Saturday mornings and forgot to do this on Monday morning). Glad to see some weight come off. Only five weeks out from my cruise and would love to be in the 140s by then.1 -

Magnesium citrate will help with sluggish bowels. You can get an expensive version called Natural Calm which is a powder you mix and drink. When I have taken it at night, it also helps me sleep. But, you can also buy an inexpensive magnesium supplement in pill form...as long as it is the "citrate" version of mag, it will help. Be sure to drink plenty of water!
