The BIG change in my life - learnt just a few days ago that I'm PREGNANT! I'm over the moon! We've been TTC, to give my 4yo a chance at having a sibling, for sometime now. When I turned 40 in Jan this year I wondered if I should give up on that dream. And now this!
I'm waiting for the first sonogram in a few days, which will tell me that everything looks okay. But that will probably mean I can't do this challenge now since my weight chart will be on an upward trend, albeit at a sensible rate. Fingers crossed!
BTW, you guys are literally the first to know!!6 -

Steps 6/22: 42,960
Half marathon #21 done! I ran it 20 minutes slower than last year but that’s what happens when you pretty much stop running for a few months I guess. Afterwards we did a lot of walking (and eating and drinking) around the city.2 -
Congrats to you @runarml! Is 21 the amount of marathons you have done?

This was my best week yet! I hope to continue to have weeks like this and start to improve on them.
Today my fiancé wants to go to a breakfast buffet, so I will see how that goes. I am going to need my will power for sure today.1 -

CONSIDERING WHAT I HAVE BEEN THROUGH THESE PAST COUPLE OF DAYS THAT IS GREAT NEWS....CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!!!
NOW I KNOW THAT YOU'LL BE GAINING WEIGHT AS YOU GO DOWN THIS WONDERFUL PATH... I AM GOING TO MOVE YOU TO THE TEAM SUPPORT IF YOU WANT TO STAY ON THE ACTIVE TEAM I CAN ALWAYS PUT YOU BACK ON IT. HOW EVER YOU CAN STILL RECORD YOUR WEIGHT ON THE TEAM SUPPORT TO TRACK IT.

WEEK 4 GROUP CHALLENGE .... BROUGHT TO US BY TEAM TRIMSTONES

I've been a part of the Trimstones Team for quite some time now and in all my time here, I'm surprised at the lack of posts and replies on a daily basis. Yes, there are a few who will post on occasion, but watching the feed daily, there's just not much activity outside of posting weights/steps. It's kinda become a pet peeve, so help me out this week!!
I'm challenging each of you to make five postings a day! Start a topic...ask a question...reply to someone else's post, but see if you can post five times a day, EVERY DAY this week, starting tomorrow, Sunday, 6/23 through Saturday, 6/29.
I'm hoping it will start a trend. We all need a little support and you never know how your comment or question will help boost someone else.

I HAVE TO AGREE WITH JESSICA OF THE TRIMSTONES IN HER POST FOR THE GROUP CHALLENGE WHICH I POSTED ABOVE...
IT FRUSTRATES ME THAT ONLY A SELECT FEW OF YOU POP IN HERE TO SHARE HOW YOUR DAY IS GOING OR AND YES SOMETIMES AS ONE OF YOUR CO- CAPTAINS I COULD DO A HELL OF LOT BETTER THAN I HAVE THIS PAST WEEK. I WILL OFFER NO EXCUSES FOR THAT.

Hi! I officially don’t start my weights until July; however, would love to contribute to week 3 challenge posted above!
We just came back home from an incredible hike in the Grand Canyon. Yesterday was a travel day and looking forward to get out in the sunshine and move around! I may also throw in a Hot 🥵 🧘♀️ Yoga class today.

PREPARING SOME FOOD FOR THE WEEK. MARCIE IS OUT FOR SUMMER BREAK SO NO MORE LUNCHES IN MASS QUANTITIES. MOSTLY GOING TO BE FOR ME SO I DON'T HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT WHEN MEAL TIME ROLLS AROUND

I posted earlier that I was going to a buffet, and was worried that I would buckle and fold. I was hoping that I would not indulge in tons of carbs and sweets. I am very glad to report that I had all the will power I needed to refrain from going off the deep end. I had no carbs. I did eat what they are calling dirty keto. Dirty Keto is better than a carb binge. This outing was a success. (pats self on back)

@Navydaddjtc You are right about that self control, I practiced it today. I practice it everyday at home. I have a 19 and 8 yr old at home, so the snacks are almost endless it seems. I just look at them and think nahh, it's not really worth it!
I hope to see pics of the new plants in the ground. You tell me what you need help sticking to and I will ride your *kitten* until you comply with the orders!!

In the interest of this week’s challenge I have a topic/question. In a different group that I’m in a member brought up how disappointed they were over their stress eating. A few members piped up, including myself, that we too are stress eaters. I realized though that other than keeping binge foods out of the house I had very little to offer as a potential solution or alternative. So here goes, for those that do or have stress ate what do you do instead, alternatively what hasn’t worked for you?

@ConfidentRaven I have been trying for so long to not binge eat. I was never successful no matter what I did. I have found that being on the Keto diet has helped me so much. I have only been on this for 7 days now. It is the longest I have stayed in control of my diet in a long time. I have not eaten anything outside of my allowed foods, except 2 spoonfuls of natural peanut butter. So for me the Keto diet when used as a tool can really help with the binge eating.
