    Rough day. Stressing about tomorrow's weigh-in. I will never understand the numbers that choose to show themselves on the scale. Like yesterday, I had a great day. Right on Target with calories. Over 17,0000 steps. Some pool time. 3 pounds gained on the scale!!! WTH??? Just have to stick with it and not let it affect me too much.

    @dustyspal That happens to me a lot, and it can be inflammation due to increased exercise and sometimes food intake, like something causes inflammation or doesn't agree with your system...etc, for me it's usually when I've lifted weights super heavy or for more reps, which I do because I train for competitive weight lifting and it's to a point where you have to look at things in an overall trend, I use my fitbit account to show me the downward trend (there are other apps you can use too) because really there will almost always be fluctuations and I swear it always happens to me on weigh in day.

    Well I'm back from holiday...a couple of days later than planned. This was a harrrrrd post to write. I've been eating out for every meal for the last nearly 2 weeks. This sucks, I feel bummed. I also know I can turn it around and I can understand that I chose to not make much food whilst away (we were on a caravan holiday). I wanted to step away from thst responsibility but obviously eating at a restaurant at least twice a day will dent progress. Sigh. Don't give up, that's the most important thing. X

    I'm not feeling well and colds are going around our office. I'm eating alright but still overdoing it. But I've learned not to be too hard on myself. All I can do is try to stay under calories and try to stay well.

    I babysat my grandchild and we were active but did not the number of steps I needed. My weight was down because I think did not have time to overeat!

    One day the stress will end. Until then just keep plowing forward. Steps were lower this week only 10,700 a day average and most of that was helped by my weekend long run. Lesson learned take $ with me to get more water along the way. This Sunday its 13.1 miles of training. Bring on the weekend.

    Thanks everyone you're doing great so far keep on pressing towards your goals. I know it can get discouraging , at times when the scale is not in your favor but DON'T GIVE UP! KEEP SAYING "I GOT THIS"! FAKE IT UNTIL YOU BELIEVE IT! Also try setting NON-SCALE goals and set out to accomplish those. For example I'll only eat out once this week or I'll exercise at least 3x this week. I'll guarantee as you meet each small goals you set, your motivation shall be lifted and before you know it the scale will be in your favor again so you'll have double victories. πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠπŸŽŠ
