AGE OF THANKFULNESS
5. I am thankful for my current and past careers. The longer I deal with people, the more normal I feel...3 -
Number 5 of my list of 10!
5. My Auntie Dot. She is the sister I never had. She is there for me no matter what is happening.1 -
Update on weekly goals:
I have been doing well with my goals this week. I spent Monday and Tuesday gutting my apartment so that helped with steps. Kids kept me on my toes today. Love all the participation in the weekly challenge.
Monday’s steps: 9,584
Tuesday’s steps: 9,893
@kilobykilo glad to have you back
@LaurieWrobo upping exercise can cause temporary water weight gain2 -

I want to brag on this group!
I have been involved with F2F for a couple years now. This group reports their weigh ins better than ANY group I have been a part of in the past. WTG guys!!!6 -
2 more things I am thankful for:
3. MFP. It keeps me honest, and the message boards teach me and inspire me. Our Shrinking Assets Team is helping me be accountable every week. Plus, what can I say, I am competitive and want our team to win!
4. My retirement. I have a small, but manageable retirement that allows me to be independent and have a little fun, as long as I stay in the middle of the US where the cost of living is cheap.
Good day to everyone!0 -

Let’s make a list of those items. But how long is the list going to be? Well, it’s all about your age. Add the 2 numbers of your age together. For example, I am 55, so 5+5=10. My list will have 10 things that make me happy or thankful. Everyday take a few items from your list and share it with the your teammates.
Well...I am 33 so I'll have six on my list.
My first and foremost is my daughter. Every day I look at her and smile. She is a strength within me to keep me going no matter what is in my way.
However this weight loss journey has slowly tore me apart. Last night I made pasta with biscuits topped with garlic, cheese, and Italian seasoning for her and my husband. She was so sad cause I didn't eat the exact same as them. I made myself zoodles and sauce with asiago chips instead. So it was close enough for me but not for her.
I am a couple behind so I am sorry.
The second thing I am thankful for is my job. It allows me the opportunity to help others in the community, show my outgoing personality, and make amazing friends.
The third thing I am thankful for is the Young Marines. I am able to help the youth of our community, teach new skills, and provide a lasting (hopefully good) impression on our future leaders.
Good morning everyone!
The fourth thing I am thankful for is MFP, my MFP friends, and all of you! MFP keeps me accountable, but each of you keep me encouraged to continue to do the best I can at the moment, remember that slip ups happen and not to be discouraged, and let me know that there is a support here even when my friends, family, and colleagues might not always be.
Thank you all for being so amazing and sharing your journey as well as mine.
The fifth thing I am thankful for is my ex husband. I know that probably sounds strange (especially with the way our relationship was), but I am thankful for our time together and the lessons I learned on how a marriage should not work.1 -
