It was been a long week. have been able to post much just a quick look everyday. I got more data on my phone so i can be more active in the group. It has been a learning crub the last couple of week since I have been back to work but with good meal planning it has been going good. I plan my day so I can get in at least 30 minutes of walking and some body wieght exercising. No loss this week but I am happy with that. Tomorrow is a day for cooking and getting meals ready and frozen for next week.

I woke up with a cold!! I so don't have time for this right now and I'm praying it quickly passes and that my hubby doesn't come down with it. At least I'm on top of all the packing I need to get done so I could afford to take today off and rest.
I canceled my WW membership this afternoon. I have been thinking about it for a long time now. I haven't been tracking points for months since I started intermittent fasting and low carb eating. I was only going because I felt that I needed the scale accountability. But I don't. I have this group to help me with accountability and support.

I've been fluctuating weight. But this before September starts I will stick to eating better food choices.

Old Lady Crap is getting better, I took a 2 mile walk today and although I had a moment or two during the day wondering as to the smarts (or not) of that choice, it turned out well. It's important to move your body - sometimes even more so when there is pain - within reason, of course.
I'm coming to another extreme week - seems like I don't do anything in the other direction. Mon-Wed something after work everyday and Thursday traveling out of town. The holiday weekend with one of the boys and his wife visiting at the coast so that will be a lot of fun. Me and Frank - 5 boys between us; 2 wives, a fiance, a granddaughter and various roommates make for some interesting times. Always lovely when we can catch them without competition. =>

Trying diligently to back on track
You’ve got this!Hey, all!! Just in a from a long and lovely trip to see my daughter and friends....it is good to be home. And it feels good to have ‘kitchen control’ and to step back into some kind of routine. Some things to add to the list of “Things I Learned On My Summer Vacation”:
1. Lasagna tastes JUST as good as I remembered.... (oh, boy...)
2. Sweet potatoes really are sweet!!!!! (In so many ways!)
3. Pinot noir makes it more likely that I’ll indulge in Numbers 1 and 2..... (oh, dear.)
So now that that’s behind us, off I go happily fasting, calorie and carb controlling and, logging on MFP. Will weigh in for Week 4 on Thursday morning (as scheduled) and visit again. Crossing fingers 🙏.....

Well, this just hasn't been my month! I close out August with a whopping .04 loss. Better than a gain!! I'm getting my game plan ready to have an awesome September. New house, new workout room, new kitchen, NO excuses!!

Up a little this week. My pants are fitting better but my weight is not inching down. I have been struggling with this time of year and all the activities which will slow down in a couple of weeks. I just need to be more consistent and watch my portions.
On a good note, I have been moving a lot more and I am working on the mental part of losing weight.4 -

Exercise: recumbent bike, weights, elliptical
Finally stayed on the elliptical for half an hour. I was doing an hour before and during vacation but have had trouble with it since getting back. I'm ok with 30 minutes for now, I still use the recumbent bike daily. I haven't been eating much so I need to tweak my food. I eat a heavy vegetable diet so it feels like I'm eating a lot but I've gotten too good at cutting back calories. I'm usually not hungry after cardio for some reason and I've been eating afterward. School started Monday. Have an excellent day everyone!0 -
