Lowest weight in quite a while! I have been very stressed, and to be honest I have not been eating very well, so I am thinking this may be more dehydration than fat loss- but I’ll take it!

Sorry I've been rubbish this week! I find being on plan so so hard when I havent had time to make the plan, I suppose there is logic in that plan struggle!
Totally overinduldged today and know tomorrow's number is going to be horrible, so sorry for that! But, no excuses I'm getting back on plan, shopping cooking etc this weekend for a good week next. It is actually going to be a mad week at work, but that absolutely isn't going to be an excuse!
Happy weekend one and all, sorry for the me me me post!3 -

I honestly have no idea why I gained this week. I have been doing a self-challenge of no processed sugar during the week and I was strict about it. And I didn't eat out at all this week -- all homecooked meals. The only thing I can think of is I haven't been eating all my calories, and that might be causing my body to go into starvation mode. This happened to me a while ago and I was gaining/maintaining and couldn't lose. I may try making sure I eat all my calories this week to see what happens.5 -

Okay, yesterday was a bust, crappy food, salty and paying for it today. I managed to walk/run 5 miles 5 times last week and ate pretty good. I can fluctuate 3-4 pounds easy when training. Sorry to let the team down, going to pull out all the stops next week, need a good drop. I have a Florida vacation on Thanksgiving week and I need solid 2 pounds a week progress.3 -

I have to get into a routine to get my weight loss going in the right direction. With all the fall shows starting next week, I have to make sure I am not a couch potato and binge watch the shows I pvr. Also, the meds maybe increasing my appetite and I am mindlessly eating, I do need to log it all.
So I am going to set weekly goals again and share them with you guys. I will check in throughout the week and let you know how I am meeting my goals. I hope this is ok with you all.
My goals for this week:
1. Walk 8500 steps daily except Sundays.
2. Ensure I drink 9 glasses of fluids a day
3. No binge watching tv or Netflix. Limit 2 shows a day.
5. Log to the best of my ability.

This week’s challenge is brought to you by Team Weight No More.We want everyone to join us in a little self care this week. Self Care may sound indulgent but it is crucial for our physical, emotional and mental well-being.
Self-care produces positive feelings and boosts your confidence and self-esteem. Overwork and the accompanying stress and exhaustion can make you less productive, disorganized and emotionally depleted. It can also lead to all sorts of health problems, from anxiety and depression to insomnia and heart diseases. Professional self-care habits like taking intermittent breaks, setting professional boundaries, avoiding overextending, etc. ensures that you stay sharp, motivated and healthy.
Smart self-care habits like eating healthy, connecting with a loved one or, practicing meditation cuts down the toxic effects of stress by improving your mood and boosting your energy and confidence levels.Even little things like sipping tea while looking at the raindrops racing down the window glass, enjoying a bubble bath, or reading a book are essential for your daily happiness. Self-care is not just about your mental health. It’s also about caring for your physical self, by eating healthy, taking adequate sleep, caring about your hygiene, exercising regularly, etc.
This week take some time to practice a little self care and post it to your teams thread. The following chart shows some examples of simple things you can do each day to show yourself a little self love. You can follow the chart or do whatever you would like. It is all about you!

Week 4, Monday
PW: 177lbs
CW: 174.2 lbsSeptember Challenge Goal Weight: 176.2 lbs /79.9 kgs (23rd September)
Additional goals:
1) This month I am going to give yoga and running (couch to 5k) another try. These are things I have done successfully in the past, at a lower weight, but found myself too big to enjoy when I was obese. Now that I've lost some weight, I might be able to get back into them.
2) I'm experimenting with homemade kombucha. I started making it last week, but haven't yet drunk any, and - if it's like any of my past fermenting experiments - it will take some trial and error to get right.
This has been a great month for me - I hit all my goals (after several months of not hitting the 'additional' exercise/mindfulness goals). Lost the weight, took up running (doing week 4 of C25k today), took up yoga, and regularly making kombucha. Am feeling a lot less stressed this month (it's a bit of a chicken and egg about cause and effect - have I been able to have such a great month because I've had less stress, or have I had less stress because I've met my goals?).
Last Friday I met up with someone who I haven't seen for about a year, since before I started losing weight - and she said she barely recognised me at first glance. She immediately asked me how much weight I'd lost and how I felt about it, and I was able to talk about how much more energy I have, and how my sleep has improved (including snoring) and from her questions I can tell she was thinking about some issues she may have herself. I hope it gave her some motivation to address any health issues she may be having connected to weight and diet.
I hope everyone else has had a good month, hitting some of your goals. And if not: there is always next month.5
