Good morning! We ended up driving straight through yesterday and got home at about 9 p.m. last night. We are exhausted. For some reason, Waze took us through downtown Atlanta during rush hour. I'm wondering if there wasn't an accident on the bypass. Anyway, we made it home safely and are grateful for that. I am not looking forward to the scale tomorrow but I'm back on it today and will head to the gym this afternoon. Great to be home but work up at 3 a.m. this morning and can't get back to sleep. Ugh!

We were suppose to be in Laughlin last night, but unfortunately my husband was up past 2am working on a project for work, that had some major issues... now I am just waiting for him to wake up & check-in to work, (crossing my fingers & toes that things are okay now).
I really wanted to be on the road by now! This was a short trip, now it will be even shorter.
Although I am venting some, I know that there was a very good reason for us not to leave yesterday. As we were sitting in our living room, we started to smell something burning... found some cords that were on the couch were getting hot... we most likely would have had a huge fire , and I hate to think what would have happened to our 2 kitties if we did not find this last night. Gods plan, to keep us at home, avoiding a huge disaster and heartbreak.5 -
@looneycatblue, oh, my! So glad there wasn't a tragedy!! Wow! Safe travels and have fun trip, even if it will be shorter.

Not what I hoped for, I guess I didn’t exercise enough and could have done better with my calories. I will have to buckle down harder this next week if I still want to meet that goal of 258 any time soon. On a lighter note it’s my husband’s birthday today and I am taking him out for dinner and then a concert tonight. After I work this morning. Full day. Will make sure to get that exercise in though!4 -

It is entirely possible that eating more may be what you need. I spent years doing calorie restricting and over exercising (cardio). I was thin but not strong and I was always hungry. Now at 40 have I realized that eating enough good stuff--lots of protein and little sugar--and lifting even just 10 minutes a day is the ticket for me. I consistently eat around 1600 calories, do 10-20 minutes of free weight lifting (Fitness Blender FTW!) and no cardio (I do some mental health walks on the weekends and get a good amount of movement at work) is the ticket for me. For reference, I am 5'8" and hover around 140.2 -

Finally! I had been hovering around 134 for the last several weigh-in Mondays! It was a good exercise week!
Monday-Elliptical-19 minutes/Strength Training Lower body- 22 minutes/3 mile walk/Outlaw 1 Yoga
Tuesday- 3 mile walk/Buti Yoga/Gentle Yoga
Wednesday-3 mile walk/25 squats/20 pushups
Thursday-/25 squats/20 pushups/Buti Yoga

Saturday-Girls on the Run 5k
Sunday-rest! 1.5 mile walk
NSV of the Week My husband “cleaned” the shed yesterday by pulling a bunch of bins out for me to go through and donate. A NSV is there were a bunch of corduroy pants from 2012 that fit again! Actually, I think they will be a size too big! It is like going shopping but not not spending money.7 -

I’m getting some exercise in but I am finding it challenging since I haven’t workout out in a long time (I know it’s a mental thing). I am finding that I like dancing so my plan this week is to pull out one of my dance workout dvds and start using it as a tool to get back into the swing of things.9 -
