Hump day - I am attending a Thanksgiving dinner at church this evening. Traditional fixings and everyone brings a dessert to share, so there will be lots of desserts. My goal is moderation with the dinner, one slice of the best looking pie, and one other dessert that calls my name. Will probably be maintenance calories today, or even a bit over, but time with my church family and good food calls for a maintenance day.4

Thanksgiving hack...
I love cooking Thanksgiving dinner... but with traveling and doing all the cooking on no sleep - it was seeming a bit much. My daughter saw that Cracker Barrel offers catering

@Beka3695 that's crazy expensive. I bought 40 lbs of turkey last night for $15. They pretty much cook themselves. I'll cook and save that money lol
I don’t want to drive 8 hours then start immediately cooking. This is more convenience for me... I can enjoy my family and not be a slave to the kitchen5 -

So it was the Man -v- Fat football awards yesterday and it turns out I didn't win! That isn't true as the computer sends an automated e-mail and told me I had won but the guy in 2nd was also 2nd last season and has lost 10% in two consecutive seasons so they gave the win to him. The good news was I lost 13cm from my belly in the 14 week season so still time to celebrate (just a bit)8

I am super happy with this. I got through Thursday without sabotaging myself. My goal this week is to lose 1 pound. So fingers crossed 🤞 I can get through another week of a good Thursday.
I have a bad cold and my steps have been dwindling every day as a result. Unfortunately, my appetite has not decreased. You know I am really sick when I can’t eat. I am going to go out and get a short walk to see if the fresh air will help break this cold up but I suspect I won’t meet my step goal again today.

Friday came up so fast!!
Have been consistent with lifting, running and walking so the week was fruitful. However didn't see a drop on the scale, a tiny bit disappointed.Despite everything Today I am happy as I had a PR in my Deadlift, 114.6 lbs!! Testing the waters, I decided to up it by 22 lbs and surprisingly my body was stronger than my thoughts! 😊

Finally dropped the water weight. Goals for this week-“You bite it, you write it”, and up my water intake- glass before each meal and snack.
Since my next weigh in day is the day after thanksgiving, I’m probably going to use my Thursday weight instead.
Still plugging along with PT 3x week. I actually had a really good day on Tuesday so that gives me hope I can turn this around!

I'm here to encourage my American friends to stay on track til Thanksgiving!!! You can do it! Remember one day will not permanently do damage... just temporarily...lol!
I read some cool advice from a nutritionist in a local magazine. She said,"If you don't like it, politely decline and don't eat it. If you do like it, savor it." I need to remember this for December.
