Knocked off another goal this week. On Monday, I had my first session with a personal trainer at the gym. I was really nervous / intimidated about the gym going into it, but it was much more comfortable than I thought it would be. I'm starting off slow and learning the basics, nothing too difficult yet... but I definitely feel a bit of soreness in muscles that I've not used as much through normal life (mainly shoulders).
Next session is tomorrow after work.
Getting close to my next goal of -100 lbs. I'm guessing I'll be there in another week or two.6 -
Awesome!

That's a lot of stuff crossed off! Great Job1 -
I need help planning long term goals....where do I begin?....0

@conniewilkins56 Think about what kind of stuff you'd like to accomplish but can't do yet due to your weight/fitness level. That's what I did.
Well that, and I threw in weight-related milestones along the route to my goal.2 -

Very inspiring @merph518! @gewel321 Awesome work with Zumba! I took my first Body Pump Class today and I did feel like I was gonna die but I made it! I plan on getting over the fear of my size on roller coasters in a few weeks. I’m still somewhat worried but should be able to fit. Just need to see that I can. Can’t wait to see the next goal you cross off the list!1

@merph518 do you go to the gym? I see your goal is strength training. I'm tossing up whether to join our local gym. They have an endless pool and I'm wondering if I brave the chlorine with my eczema because my knee is really bothering me at the moment. Think it doesn't like the squash I've started. So maybe strength training and swimming would help. It's either constant knee pain or itchy unsightly eczema (or totally sedentary which is no longer an option!)1

I wore an XL sweatshirt today!!!! Bye-bye 2X and 3X!3
-
@maiomaio71 Yep. I'm four weeks into going to the gym regularly now. I have a personal training session on Monday evenings, then one session later in the week on my own with "homework" from my trainer. I was really hesitant about the idea at first, mostly because I was intimidated by the gym, but I'm enjoying it so far.
@dustyspal Awesome!3 -
Crossing another off! Today was the first time I've felt comfortable enough with the fit of an XL shirt to wear one to work. I haven't fit into this size in about 8-9 years.
