Happy I managed to get walk in today, really needed it.
Lunch with friends at buffet. Avoided everything with gluten. Roast pork, roast ham, and triple dessert. Still kept well within budget.2 -

As two of our members said earlier this week, and I have actually thought as well, it is hard to stay in the challenge when we have experienced a rough week or two and have seen a gain. We've all thought it and felt it. But, when we stay and work through it, we ended up experiencing better weeks. This team has the most dedicated folks I've ever "not" met! This is hard work. We experience the best highs and the lowest lows, but we keep on. We have to for our own good health. So, if you're considering dropping out, please don't. Stay with us and keep working on your health. Start where you are right now and climb back up on that wagon. The next few weeks are going to be extremely challenging but not impossible to navigate. We can do this together! We need each other!

It's been a very sad and stressful week. My close friend is in the hospital (12 days now) and near the end of his life. It's so hard to see him in the condition he's in. I sat with him for a couple of hours yesterday morning and a couple of times I thought we were losing him. His breathing goes from very deep, labored breathing to then stopping for a few seconds. It's scary and most likely a sign that it won't be very long. Sure do love that guy!

I'm so late posting. I was so embarrassed by my weight gain and then community wasn't working for me and I almost didn't post it but I am here. It's been a rough go this month. Hopefully I can get back on track!

Birthday lunch party for Brother-in-law. He turns 40 the day after Christmas. Party was band and finger food. Good band, but got too loud for me and I had to take some "time out" to de-stress (I am not good with the combination of loud and lots of people).1 -

We are half-way through the month. Several of us have not seen the results that we were hoping for so far, including me! Our challenge this week is for the whole team, not individual members. I challenge us to check in every single day with the following, whether you have a yes or a no for your answer. No shame when you answer "no". Posting shows that you strived to reach the yes!!

Several of us do this already and will most likely agree that it is extremely important for your own accountability to check in every day with the group. That keeps us focused daily on our goals and whether or not we are meeting them. We are almost to the holiday season, which as we all know includes an overabundance of eating and drinking. We can get ahead of that by building daily habits which will help us all reach our goals.3 -

Confession: i fell so hard, but i’m getting up (i am UP)! i was thinking i should start fresh January, but all i continue to hear is my grandmom saying “never put off tomorrow what can be done TODAY”.... so today i’m back on the wagon🤗4 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? No. Feeling awful today. Tummy upset. Headache. Didn't sleep last night. Couldn't run today. Tried to go for a walk but only made it to the end of the driveway.

Yesterday, in order to have some of my friend's fabulous baked ziti, I ate nothing but an orange until dinner. At dinner I gorged on ziti and Italian bread. I must be a delicate little flower, I can't imagine food making me feel this sick.2 -

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR WEEK 2 WINNER @BB_1033. - 5.17%December Week 2 is now in the books! December is a hard month to stay on track. With the holidays, and everyone is busy this time of year, everyone did a great job sticking to the plan despite all of that and as a whole, we are carrying 96.9 less pounds around. Awesome job!!
