Sorry I'm a day late ... again! I actually weighed yesterday on my weigh day but I was at work and busy si I didn't remember to post it here.
I try to be fair and use the same scale everytime.1 -
Sweets are the death of me and people have been giving us cookies and candy and all kinds of crap! My husband brings home all kinds of junk. I know that sounds like an excuse but it's really hard to say no when it is EVERYWHERE. I've had gains the past two weeks. I'm ready for January. How are you guys managing!?
To be fair to my self, I've been pretty consistent for 2 months on here and that is really significant. So I'm trying to just

Exercise: took my daughter skating (her first time so not a ton of movement but lots of core/stabilizing as I practically dragged her around the rink 🤣 (she’s almost 4))
Day: feel pretty good about today. I was super hungry so didn’t fast which always makes it harder to keep to my calories (I do IF and skip breakfast almost daily) but I still did pretty good.
Water challenge: nope. I need to recommit to this!!2 -

Back from traveling sadly with the stomach flu so the indulges could have been worse on the scale. Hoping a new fresh start in Jan when schedule is back on track. But this also means more stress since I will be starting the spring semester of grad school, dear daughter back in school, training for the marathon, new weight loss targets and a new job. Fun times. This is definitely a plumbing issue. I’m not super excited to see that number, but I also know the cause. It’ll be alright. The new year is just around the corner. After talking to my doctor, he recommended 20-25lb loss, so that’s the goal. The time frame hopefully will be by June, because I’ll be going to the beach. I’ll feel better, and I’ll look better, too.

I see that I'm not the only one who slipped a bit this week ... similar holiday challenges with the parties, vacation time off around the house (making it way too easy to snack), cookies and candy everywhere. I know that 'hoping' to get to my goal weight by EOY isn't going to cut it so no more excuses for the next 3 days. Time to get off my butt and get a good workout in and be a mindful eater to see if I can still make it to 215. I'm keeping the big picture in mind that I'll still be down 20-25 lbs this year and that's worth celebrating but I still have 3 more days to cross the finish line so I'm going to go for it.1 -

Some of that might be water weight too so don’t beat yourself up too much and if you can get right back on track that’s pretty amazing. And 20-25lbs is definitely worth celebrating!2 -

Well I came close to my goal of being under 200 by end of year. My scale is analog and it almost looked like 199 but I think it really was closer to 200 despite my hopes. Not bad though. I am just shy of getting out of the obese category.2
