    Sunday check in
    Calories: over
    Exercise: 23 minute walk
    Water:✅

    Steps 4/26 5,267

Ok, I have spent 3 days not being able to get a grip on my eating. As soon as I come close to the 60 pound loss it is like I sabotage myself. I have been trying to break this barrier for awhile. This morning I am almost up 8 pounds. I know a lot of it is water weight but it takes me days to get rid of it. My commitment to you guys and myself is by the end of the May challenge I will break through the 60 pounds lost.

    Today’s goals
    1. Walk 5km (if my leg cooperates)
    2. Tai chi
    3. Stay with in calorie goal
    4. Pre log tomorrow
    5. Drink 9 cups of water

I know how you feel, I feel the same way, I’ve been on my last 20lbs for a while but as soon as I start making progress I feel like I let it go. For me i think that’s I am somewhat content with how I look now. So if my weight creeps up I put in some effort but once it’s back at content I ease up again, but I am not yet at my tru goal and it’s time that good enough stopped be good enough.

    My goals today
    Stay green for calories
Burn 750 active calories on my Apple Watch
    Practice gratitude

I have a question - do I have to log my weight weekly or can I do it every 3 weeks?

Two more new people for you, Downsizers! They are @kyfrancik and @lisasolo149 - they should be along to say hello soon.

In answer to your question, @MaddyJo2030 - you must weigh in every week. It does not have to be a loss every week - but it is the easiest way to catch a trend quickly and make adjustments as needed. A healthy, relatively steady loss is the ideal - and we tally everyone's weight every week.

Today was a good day, I’m ending the day green on calories, and I walked over 12,000 steps, and I checked in with my grandparents to make sure they are feeling well and doing ok.

    Goals for Tuesday
    Weigh in
    Green for calories
    Strength training day
    Burn 750 active calories

I've realized something the last couple of weeks. I've been in lockdown since 2nd week in March and wearing jammies and slippers (they're so very comfortable) is so easy. But, until I change into regular clothes and shoes, I don't get busy with my tasks ... just schlep around. Once I get changed, my mindset changes as well and I focus on my To-Do List for the day.

Perhaps I should get dressed earlier? Nah ... let's not get carried away!! LOL :p

    Exercise: 80 minute walk
    Water: not enough

    Steps 4/27 11,828

Yesterday I walked 5.68 km. Hopefully, my leg won’t hurt when I walk today. It is overcast here today but it is warm. Great day for walking.

    Today’s goals
    1. Walk 5.5 km
    2. Tai chi
    3. Clean apartment ( I was lazy yesterday)
    4. 8 cups of water
    5. Stay within calorie goal
