Was a great trip. Hiked around the 7000' level of Mt Bachelor. Made my son carry 25 lbs of rock samples. Thats what kids are for, right?? Then rode the Tour des Chutes virtual ride event, headed east towards Burns Oregon. Out into the Oregon Bad Lands. Oh more rock samples from the ancient lave flow beds, son carried those too. I am very tired now......

Took me three hours to get up there from Avalanche. It took an hour to get back down. I was a little stiff the next day but it felt good.0 -
